Miracle: +Recovery (I'm one lucky <insert expletitive>)

Just gloating, sorry... Nah, not sorry... haha... just had a little ol miracle with a miracle IO...

Well, my Human PB is about IOd to the gills now. 27 purples, -KB IO, LotG +Rchg, Numina +Recovery. So I run several Toggles all the time, plus have Hasten on Auto (Not perma, but less than 20 seconds from it, so close enough). For most content, I don't have much of an Endurance problem, but I've noted that for some GM and AV fights I start getting low on End. It takes a while - I have decent recovery, but nevertheless, this is my pimped-out toon, and I want as much chrome as possible.

So, I figured, why not get a Miracle +Recovery and put it in Health - then maybe I can be the first PB to solo Hamidon or something. I look at prices at Wents... Holy Carp!, they've gone up just like Purples!! 150 Million+... Really don't feel like spending that much.

Do you ever get those feelings, like the stars are lined up just right. I had a few merits from some TFs, so I go over the Merit Vendor. I'm explicitly wanting one single expensive recipe... I still feel like I'm in the zone...

*Cha-ching* Random Recipe Roll - and I've got me a Miracle +Recovery.

What are the odds...? I haven't been living *that* right haha.

IMHO, reward roll recipes are the best way to go, especially if you're not looking for a recipe in general. 160 reward merits = 8 recipes. Sure there's the risk of getting dupes or "lame" recipes, but usually, you can craft 'em and turn a tidy profit

Oh I fully agree, and it's what I normally do anyway. What was remarkable this time; I *was* looking for a specific rare expensive recipe, and got it on the first roll!

That's some pretty good luck there, congrats. The other day I wanted a Steadfast 3% defense for my shield brute but didn't have the money on him to buy one. I went to the AE building, had like 69 tickets only, just enough to do a bronze roll at 10-14 and I lucked out and got the Steadfast Res/Def i wanted.

I just got one the other day... that's where I got about half of the money that I'm "wasting" in the other thread. They really aren't THAT rare or hard to get, you just have to keep doing the same random roll every time and you'll get it, eventually.

Neogumbercules, how did you get the little box in your window that shows your stats, exp to next lvl and infamy?

Not denying any of that. The thing is I didn't 'keep doing' random rolls. I went to the Merit Vendor with the express purpose of trying for a Miracle +Rec, yet I *felt* really lucky, like I was gonna get it, and then did get it on the first roll. Just felt like the odds for that particular circumstance would be rather astronomical... Just had that feel of things serendipitously falling into place haha

Powers > Combat Attributes, then right click the attribute you want displayed and select "Monitor/Display" (can't remember exact wording but it's pretty self-explanatory from there on).

Defiant EU
Quaver: Kinetics/Sonic Defender
Semiquaver: Sonic/Kinetics Corruptor

Nice. I actually broke down and dropped merits for one to sell. I now have a VERY pimped out Stone/Fire.

But yeah, I've noticed that if you click rather rapidly on the "random" rolls, they ain't quite so random.

Made myself a pretty penny this way too.

I recently finished getting my Task Force Commander accolade, and then I went to spend my merits. I wanted a Numina +Regen/+Recovery, but realized I'd be better off getting the Miracle +Recovery, selling it, buying the Numina's, and pocketing the difference.

So I bought the Miracle for the full merit price. Then, I still had merits left, so I figgered I might as well take a random roll. Ding! Numina +Regen/+Recovery.

And the rolls if anything seem to be getting less random.

I decided I'd take a load of my 50s and random roll their merits and bronze roll their tickets.

I have notoriously poor luck on random rolls (one numinas unique, no LotG 7.5s, no miracle uniques, no oblit quads off 300+ rolls). Some of this turned round.

I rolled about 100 times, I got 3 LotG 7.5s 2 numinas, an oblit quad and a miracle.

The strange thing was that on one toon I rolled 15 or so times and got 5 LotG triples.

Another toon, similar number of rolls, 4 oblit procs.

The surprise was the impervium armor resist which sold for more than the numinas unique.

I have had a suspicion for a long time that there are situations where the random number generator either doesn't reroll, or resets to reroll off the same seed. Example combining enhancements from 25 to 30+, you get 24 straight successes then 4 straight failures.

It's true. This game is NOT rocket surgery. - BillZBubba

If you pick up several right in a row via rapid-click, I doubt it. More than likely the system hasn't cleared the "random" value off and substituted a new one yet.

On my first fire/kin troller I hit level 32, went and leveled up and within 5 minutes got a Soulbound Allegiance: Chance for Build Up proc.
