I got -rep bombed too (for the International Talk Like a Pirate Day thing). Some people totally
got what I was doing and others seem humour deficient... I've even gotten -rep for posting
up pics of my gaming computer that I built (cuz building custom computers is like what I do for a
living and stuffz 
) and the specs of my monitor... no really... not making it up. I even got one for having
orange text... seriously how petty can you get. 
I went ahead and made a thread at the time called Dear Anonymous and I posted what they had
said to me for all to see plus my response and invited any of them to "man up" (or woman up 
) and PM
me directly if they have a problem with anything I've said, no takers yet, but funnily enough my rep
went up again lol go figure. Never actually got to see it go red but alas 
Don't worry though I already got your back with the +rep. 
P.S. I for one have no problem with the title of this thread. Seriously who puts in weeks of work asking
for and organizing pics, ideas and concepts from people in the community for a task of this magnitude
to NOT get paid for it?
You didn't mention a price in your title or break any other rules that I know of so it's fair game I say.
A title is just a title... plus it makes it really easy to find this thread.

I'm glad you like it! It's a cute character, with a very bold, bright color scheme so I thought I'd do a more stylized, graphic-style treatment for that picture (which isn't that well expressed atm be will be later).
