This is very interesting and I totally did study Eisenstein and Kulashov.

I'm pretty sure I'll never do one of these webcasts, simply because I don't think I could talk about what I was doing or did from an intellectual standpoint. It'd be 30 minutes of "this just feels right to me".

Just listened to the recorded webcast. Good stuff. Like you said, it's a bit hard to keep up with what you were being asked in text since I can't see it on the tiny little screen, but it was still very informative.

I really like the discussion of overdone anatomy underneath clothes at the end, too. That sort of thing is why I'm such a fan of Alex Maleev. There's still those muscular figures, but they feel grounded in realism.

It was nice to have several people on board last night, and be able to hang out and discuss things. I think i'll do another one next thursday, maybe centered on drawing faces and making expressions since symmetry was an issue raised in regard to my work.

Last night was pretty interesting, can't wait till next week.

Ok, so I stopped drawing and watched a Rick James video. Then I logged in and said "hola" to Kat. And then city of heroes broke and doesn't work at all any more. Is this mere coincidence? Who's responsible for this--the spirit of Rick James? Kat? Castle?

Also I think thursday I'll be talking about using 3d in your 2d and doing some soul searching about how to tell if your being a hack.

Maybe the driver broke. Update it to the current and see what happens?

It occured to me that this Thursday is Thanksgiving in the States. Do people want me to go ahead with the Thursday night Livestream? Or should I postpone it until next week?

As for what killed your card, I'm surprised nobody threw out it being a Nemesis Plot. Personally, I say it's because your card didn't have enough bacon.

Ok well I'll plan on doing one. If nobody shows maybe i'll just record me coloring something. If I get some people there I'm going to talk a bit about how I've been using 3d on this project.

Also I got a $70 card that was a generation or two beyond what came with my computer. I don't need cutting edge game graphics or anything. As long as it does a good job with my 3d apps and Photoshop I'm happy.

Also, if it affects anyone's decision to attend tomorrow night, I'm going to be doing some discussion on boobs and irony.

I can't attend that. It'd be like being stabbed over and over again.
