Aaaaargh, once more my computer experiences trauma (immediately after speaking to Kat, again!?!). I somehow picked up that antivirus software PRO bug. I finally got rid of the damn thing but now I got no sound. The device drivers for the sound card say they're working properly. The little sound bar at the bottom of the screen says no audio output device is installed. Any thoughts?

Uninstall the drivers, and uninstall the audio device (in Device Manager). Reboot, see if the computer recognizes the audio device (either as an unknown device, or as an audio device). Go to the manufacturer's website and re-download the drivers, then see what you get.

It looks like Foo just volunteered to have his work dissected. 
Oddly enough I would'nt mind having one of my pieces go under the knife but I don't know that I have any start to finish City of Heroes pieces in color other than that LJ one I did and Suichiro already gave an excellent critique of that one. Most are pencils or pen sketches that I run out of time to work on and new ideas crop up that carry me away... I may have to take a week off after the holiday season and try to finish up some of my WIPs.
(ok rambling here but I too would be interested to hear an educated critique happen in real time

Ok, I'll spend some time talking about some of the pieces I've seen from some of the other art regulars here. Some people might take offense--that's not my intention, but the hell with it, lol. Anyone can feel free to rip apart anything I've done as long as there's an actual point to it. I'll also talk a bit about the stylization I've been using recently.
