Anyone else enthused about an Elec scrapper?

Just curious!

HELL YEAH. With the potential change to elec armor I'm thinking about changing my spines/dark into a spines/elec for the better end management. Then putting the missions set for 8 and getting lots of purples.

Also, elec/SD is gonna rock.

I think I'm more enthused with the possibility of Electric Armor getting a self-heal. The numbers that were briefly available to the general public will most likely be changed, but the thought makes me very happy.

And, though I'm less enthused about the prospect of an */elec Scrapper, my next Tanker is going to be elec/*.

Hadn't heard of a possible self heal but I want a Claws/Elec either way. Also thinking of an Elec/DA but I'm pretty sure it will be end painful

They're now putting it all together.

You keep complaining about everyone copying you, but I have yet to see a build template. If I am going to be 'accused' of copying you, I would like to know just what I am copying.

So post it.

now.

lets see it.

I'll probably make an elec/dark scrapper and see if it's worth it compared to my spines/dark and claws/dark. If the self heal is good enough maybe i'll consider spines/elec as well.

Dark armor lover.

Too bad Fire Wire is almost certainly taken on Virtue.

Fire / Elec would rock.

[RP Virtue]Psi: Bwaha. Getting the final hit with [Kick] is awesome. It's just like "*Kick Crotch* *crumple over*"

Well here is an Electrical/SD scrapper I just threw together.

(I posted the long form because I doubt that you can open it in Mids unless you modify the database to allow Electrical Melee as an option for scrappers.)

No self heal but I did get the regeneration up to 31 HP/sec.

But other than the need to carry a few greens for emergencies a fairly playable build (especially since it can two shot minions/LTs with Lightning Rod+ Shield Charge)

If I decide to go Dark/Elec Arm, my place holder is Stygian Volt
If I go with Kat/Elec my place holder is Miyamecha Musashi

I'm actually holding back on posting an Elec/SD simply because I'm not sure we'll actually get the same version that everyone else is getting. As soon as I get some solid info on what to expect with the new set, I'll start throwing down on Mids, but, unlike some, I actually prefer to wait to see what I'm going to have before I start planning around it.

I am *totally* going to make a BS/Elec scrapper, as well as the same Elec/Shield scrapper that the rest of CoH is going to make. :P Double tele-nuke rocks.

Ok you guys talked me into it.

My place holder for my Elec/Shield scrapper is named....

Thats the difference between us. I don't PvP so the operative phrase is "Fun to play"

DAoC ruined pvp for any other game and WoW's broken pvp system and development put the nail in the coffin. I don't pvp.

As I must continue my stand of being anti FoTM, I will not be rolling an ele/SD or a spine/elec. I will roll an elec/regen and a DB/elec. That's about as random and off the wall as I can think of and I like it! Now I have to choose a server...

"All problems can be solved by throwing enough scrappers at it."

Elec armor getting a heal? Really? Linkage? I wasn't enthused about elec armor (only elec melee) but having a self heal will change my mind for sure!

Who do I have to *&^% around here to get more Targeted AoE recipes added?

If you search the Archetypes & Powers section for "energize" you'll see a lot of threads about it. Someone logged onto Test and wrote the following (before Test was locked down to just I16 testers):

As always for things on Test, it's subject to change.

Eeeh not really to be honest.
Regen is top of the line for me at the moment, my /SRs are gathering dust (too monotonous) and quite frankly, I'm addicted to 'clicks' on Scrappers.

Elec Melee? Yes.

Elec Armor for tanks? Yes.

Elec Armor for scrappers? Eh, not so much.

Then again, I'm really liking my Fire/Fire scrapper after I got his S/L def up (a lot), so maybe I'll do the same for an Elec/Elec scrapper.
