Oh and can someone tell me how to understand whatever the op is trying to tell us? I dont understand.

Why do i need to buy the power full auto from assault rifle? I mean everyone can pull down the trigger and shoot. It's not so hard. Everyone who has been in army can do that. I mean I've been in army. I can do that, almost anyone else can do too.
I do the above, in quote changes in my head normally and normally say nothing. People shouldn't come here for English lessons but for lessons in understanding. Ofc the forums can improve our abilities to understand eachother. I sometimes write like that or a bit like it as it is from brain to paper. Now I have to realize that it is better to write as though I was saying it. Where would I stop to breath? However being half irish doesn't help because as some might know, in some parts they are known for talking fast. My mate, who is sometimes on drugs makes fast posts as well.

The point of my post is that not everyone on this board speaks English as their first language. It's sometimes extremely hard to try and understand the kind of gibberish the OP posted here... My post tried to be sarcastic about it :P

...so, additional kinds of Brawl with different animations.

Also, see the Fighting pool.

I think what Billie is trying to say, is if you choose "Kick" from the fighting power pool, you expect it to be a super powered awesome looking kick.

The very basic animation for "Kick" is probably why he is implying it should be free for everyone. I do kind of agree with him. I remember I was disapointed by it a long time ago when I chose it for my Earth Controller

Kick gave me one of my most satisfying in-game moments of the past few weeks. I was streetsweeping in Peregrine Island, kicked a Fake Nemesis, and he went flying, landed on the bonnet of a car on his back with his legs splayed.

Don't tell me thats not impressive!

I actually really like the animation for Kick. Its not flashy, but its very contemptuous. But, if they were to offer say the Thunder Kick animation from Martial Arts as an alternative animation somewhere down the line, that would be a good thing too, as that would suit some characters more than others.

That aint working - that's the way you do it. Get your money for nothin - kick for free

(I want my I want my I want my shapeshifting)

Don't characters kick already with brawl if they carry weapons? It's been a while since I played any of my weapons characters, and I seem to recall my WP/DB tank (which I deleted) kicked when it brawled.

I got kick for free!
In your face, fighting pool!

Ah, that reminds me of my spec ops blaster.
Running around the Hollows took on a whole new meaning of fun when I started booting Trolls into walls and off stuff, then filling them full of lead.

-wistful sigh-
Anyway;
OP, for the sake of making an arguement and so people can understand, learn to punctuate and paragraph.
And then maybe add in optional animations for brawl/kick in I16.
Problem solved.

Short answer, hopefully brawl will get animation customization once the pools, epics and epic at's get done. some sets do kick rather than punch (archery, dual blades, spines occasionally, im betting dual pistols, any set where both hands are encumbered), and if you want it, sure, wouldnt be a major problem. just give it time, basically.

It depends. Dual Blades kicks, but Katana hits them with the hilt.

Kick becomes much better with the following dialogue binded: "THIS! IS! SPARTA!"

AFAIK, thats not actually part of Brawl. It is Pummel from the VEAT Soldiers sets (lovely move) but yeah, Brawl with a gun so should use that animation. Seriously.

No no, assault rifle users had an alternate brawl animation that used smacking enemies with the butt of the rifle long before there were VEATs.

No idea. i remember using it a long time ago, but i wasn't playing Assault Rifle users for a while, so i have no idea when it was removed.

One can hope.
That would be cool. But even cooler would be if they let our Warshades and Peacebringers use brawl in squid form. After all, we have this long, heavy, whiplike tail. Why can't we slap our enemies silly with it?

Haven't played AR in a long time, but I'm pretty sure Thugs MMs still get to pistol-whip opponents

I seem to recall my Thugs/poison doing so.

I think you mean "Tankers are tankers".

It has always seemd to me that part of the confusion is that there is a party role commonly called "tank" and an AT called "tanker". That doesn't mean that only the tanker can tank. Any of the above ATs (as well as many other ATs) can serve the tank role. Similarly, many a tanker has arrived in a group only to find that there was no need for him or her to tank -- there was already another character serving in that role, the group had such high damage that no enemy survived the alpha, or the enemies were controlled or debuffed to harmlessness.

Brutes are brutes, masterminds are masterminds, tankers are tankers, scrappers are scrappers. And all of them can tank.

Exactly my point. It's not that we don't know how to kick, it's that we prefer to punch unless we have no choice.

Or if we can't cut people with our katana we hit them with the blunt end of the katana, because katanas are too awesome not to use.

My dominator was tanking (not in a bad way) last night. When I asked when I became the tank the response was "you tank no matter what AT you play."

We had an AR/Dev Blaster tank the AVs at the end of the STF last time I ran it

(Okay, so what if we had 3 Sonics on the team? )

Yes, I did mean tankers. When it comes to the reason for the behavior on each AT, there are stark differences. Both brutes and tanks often want to grab aggro. A tank blueside is usually doing it for 'noble' reasons, in that they are protecting the squishies. The brute is after fury, knowing that the aggro is fueling the damage output.

I get tired of these types of debates. It has a lot to do with the player. For example, my rad/kin corruptor has out-tanked brutes at times because they weren't aggressive at grabbing the aggro and I wanted it for fulcrum. Granted, my rad/kin is softcapped for S/L/E and I carry a tray of breakfrees and have a great heal available, so it isn't exactly hard for me to tank.
