Nice subtle feature of radio mission
What enemies were you fighting? That's not just radio missions, some enemies now hide (sometimes in plain site) before attacking in all missions.
You were probably fighting against Vahzilok or Lost. Enemy mobs recently got patched to use new emotes while waiting for you to approach. For some mobs, this includes lying down on the job, and in the case of Lost, panhandling.

Some devouring earth (bladegrass, razorvine etc) like to pretend they are trees as well. And others seem to think they are werewolves, howling and roaring a lot.
It was freakshow. I'm used to vahz and lost doing it, it was the fact that it was 8 freakshow hiding that surprised me.
Yeah, I've seen Freakshow in missions doing that 'play dead' bit they like to do in Brickstown. I like to think they're not trying to lure me in, they're trying to convince me to stop the beatings.
Having Vengeance and Fallout slotted for recharge means never having to say you're sorry.

The new emotes are cool. I was in Croatoa recently, and saw Devouring Earth using the same "hide in plain sight" emote as Fir Bolg where they pretend to be trees until you approach, then unroot themselves and attack.
I like it and wish there were more. It would be pretty fun to see a Malta ambush decloak and airdrop in Titans when attacking.
I've seen some Rikti using the digging and wheelbarrow emotes in the tunnels leading to their bases.

Shhhh! Don't give the devs any idea. The Titans now are are current bad enough. I don't want to worry about a "Death from Above" from a Zeus Titan.

Then I'd promptly get angry and hosp then go beat them up. >_>
If the Luddites can practice picketing in the woods, the Lost can practice panhandling in a mission.

Why don't you make like a tree and get the heck out of here...
I got a good laugh the other day on a radio mission against Lost. I am in the end room of a sewer with all that green....liquid....that we slosh through and approached a Headman Blaster standing by himself. Suddenly two Scroungers burst up from under the surface to attack me. I was half expecting it, but it still startled me. Then I had a question run through my head as to what they were doing under the surface, since they couldn't be sleeping, they would drown. Then I thought....ewwww....I don't want to consider what they might be doing down there.

Ever do a villainside newspaper mission that says something like "Maizon calls villainname out", about how he called you out in a news conference? And it turns out that Maizon is a Behemoth? Well, if they can hold news conferences, why can't they read? They probably needed to learn to read the teleprompters, if nothing else.

I was on a lowbie doing some scanner missions with two friends of mine. We waltz into a room where there are seemingly no enemies, but then we realize they were lying on the ground, waiting in ambush. They rise up around us (around 8 of them), and we had to respond quickly to survive. I just thought that was pretty awesome and wanted to share. I had never seen such a feature in a scanner before.
