Rented....purchased, just sneakily used, it doesn't matter: there's only one left and it's rather appropriate:

I don't wanna save my soul now,
I just wanna lose control,
And even if it takes a lifetime, to learn:
I'll learn!

I think TheOcho said it wasn't that easy for them to get more smilies for the forum.

O.O

But... it is... it's a free download from vBulletin that you attach as a package, but only an admin can do it...

I know, I admined a vBulletin site. I can't wear a watch for more than a couple of weeks without the battery dying and Hubby moved my pc away from me, on another side of a wall, so he wouldn't have to replace the power supply constantly, I've had entire computer systems crash just because I stood to near them and my eldest kid swears the FioS speed slows down when I get close to the router... and I admined a forum!

True story, I used to play regularly about 4 years ago with an Aussie. His language was fairly ripe and I decided to see if I could make any sense of it with the profanity filter on. It was pretty tough and I soon turned the filter off again. There appeared to be only two or three commonly used words and they were all caught by the filter ...

A Dodge is absolutley no good to us whatsoever. You guys drive on the wrong side of the road!

EDIT: Oh, so that doesn't get censored, but idio t does? Talk about your cultural differences...
As I noted earlier in the thread the word has an innocent meaning in US English (something along the lines of to be a *****/waste-of-space/timewaster iirc) and has appeared in several US sitcoms. (Hmm - tried the word meaning one who is idiotic there... stupid filter).

The odd thing here is that the censor is very inconsistent. The noun for a single one-eyed Onanist is censored, but most other words using the 4-letter root are not. Even the plural noun isn't censored.

Censored:
****er (single noun)

Not Censored:
**** (4-letter root)
****s
****ered
****ing
****ers

I thought that with cheap fuel prices most US cars still used a GPM display?

Hey, AFAIK, the US does still have cheap compared to the UK.
And that's a 'I'm being cheeky' tongue-smiley.

Think the clue is in the sound: grin = green?

All I have to do is practice some more at directing it and then I'll be a true super villain!

We use litres and kilometres, you backward Yanks.

Seriously, the Metric System uses 2nd-grade level maths, just add zeroes and it all makes sense. What's so hard about it?

Zero means nothing and if you stare at the nothingness it starts staring back at you, into you... past you...

How about Roman Numerals?

I can neither confirm nor deny the intent of Roman Numerals at this time.

Roman Numerals have no rules for fractions.

"This car uses between V and VI litres of gasoline per C kilometres at XC KPH" is pretty damn vague when trying to compare fuel efficiency.

Then again, keep in mind that you're talking to people who think in dimensions such as 3/8 of an inch (which incidentally is roughly 1 cm or 10 mm).
