Im sorry how do we go from a broad reasonably civil discussion on the merits of a exclusively gay super group to sex talk?

Re-read the whole thread. If you don't think any of it has to do with sex and what some people like then I would hate to hear your kind of talk like that.

Been thinking about whats been said in this thread and the general counter argument to

"don't segregate your self by restricting your self to a gay only SG"

is along the lines of the SG would create a community for its members where they have more in common than a simple love of the game.

I'm thinking would a global channel not serve this purpose better as I'm sure there are gay gamers out there that will already be part of SGs and they may not wish to leave them. a global channel would solve this as well as allowing the community to exist cross faction and cross server which to my mind would seem better than a simple SG.

any ways just a thought.

Cherokee. Until your somewhat confusing post, nobody in this thread was discussing sex. We were disussing sexual identity and people using that to group together. The two are rather different.

Cherokee, as far as I can tell (and, as always, I'm willing to be proven wrong), nobody in this thread has, with any level of seriousness, posted anything that has "sexual undertones".

There is a vast difference between discussing the social interaction of people who have different sexual preferences and actually discussing the act or desire of sex (whether same-gender or hetero) in any way.

I've made my position perfectly clear, I think, and I am pleased with the way that people on both sides of the discussion (it certainly isn't an argument) have responded.

Nobody here is actually promoting sexual activity in any way, and nobody here is lambasting sexual preference in any way. The only person who seems to find any form of "undertone" here is you, and thus, I quote my mother: "If one man calls you an ***, take no notice. If three men call you an ***, buy a saddle."

Hm, let's see if I can get this right:

Cherokee is commenting that the thread is about sex, whereas others state it's about sexual identity - not the act. But we can all agree that the thread is about someone's search for a g-a-y supergroup, right?

The only difference (as far as I'm concerned) between a g-a-y man/woman, and a straight man/woman is whom they choose to have sex with. So really, any conversation in a g-a-y supergroup that would in anyway be different from say, a supergroup with ONLY straight people in it, would be about whom they're currently bangin'?

I guess if you look at it like that, the thread could be accused of being about sex. But you'd have to reeeaally stretch it out (ehehehe), as I have just done.
