A little note on brawl, on my claws scrapper, it's sometimes a kick or punch, on my shield def scrapper it's a shield hit or kick or even a punch if the shield isn't out.
So brawl varies depending on the powersets used...

That said guys, I remember BaB saying that Brawl was the single most complicated animation script in the game because of the Left/Right switching and all the exceptions (kicks for Archery etc)
Randomising or alternating the new MA/SS animations probably wouldn't be as complex, but I doubt it's trivial either. Either way, it's still something I would really like to see, as it would add a LOT to MA at least.

Though a big part of that may be if the engine was built to just have 1 animation per power and so brawl was effectively trying to work around the system. If the system has been altered to support multiple animations in more general usage then adding this to additional powers ought to be easier.
Of course, it'll probably still be the case that brawl remains the most complex, as it has to work with every other powerset.

Also remember, for brawl, some AT/sets actually kicks or hit with the blunt edge of the sword instead of boxing. Like that!
as I remember there used to rally good animations for MA, but then they got scrapped meaning that its possible to change the animations again and to whatever possible.
...now if only someone could dig up that video on youtube

Well MA did had different animations in the old days, like the pummel animation (foot to face, slap slap slap slap kick) wich was removed due casting times.
But i like to see that one back

First of all, the I16 announcement sounds FANTASTIC, there's not a thing in there I don't like.
The option to have a choice of two animations for each power in Martial Arts and Super Strength is something I'm looking forward to, but I'd like to add a third option - randomly pick between the two animations whenever you use the power. Would be great for making the animations more varied and fun IMO.
