Hi, I'm Dom Diamond, Sulphide, Fire-Brand, Transparent Girl, Dolly Macabre...and a bunch of new toons I haven't met yet.
I'm not going anywhere yet. There's nowhere else I want to go!

Well I aint off, still got things to do. Might even try this MA thing one day.
I do have to say i#15 is a disapointment for me, there's been all sorts of talk about huge issues, coming storms etc, but i#15 isn't it. Hopefully i#16 will bring about these big things.

Im staying because being able to fly and shoot lasers from your eyes for less than the cost of three pints of beer a month is a bargain.
However, if I was leaving, I wouldn't tell you, as 'I'm Leaving!' posts tend to be a massive bunch of self-indulgent ego-onanism posted by people who cannot accept that actually the game is bigger than them and will continue to exist despite the lack of their unique and individual presence, ideas and wisdom.
Even if you are leaving for totally non-contentious fluffy bunny reasons, please take the effort to tell your friends personally. Doing it with a post in the general section of the boards makes about as much sense as using the main PA system at Waterloo to say goodbye to your mates drinking across the road in the Prince of Wales.

I dont think leavers will even read this post, but still i will say:
Dissapointments are created by expectations.
I dont leave a game for another, i go play em both. I dont leave because they didnt add feature XXX, i adept, accept and find new ways.
Yesterday i was roaming the sewers in the US, when i found this lonely scrapper trying to find some sole mobs to wack. I gave him some buffs, along with the magic booster buff, the guy went totaly happy.
So i talked to him a while, he spent 2 hours just creating his character and i must say it was looking pretty nice. He was only playing for a week now, but he enjoyed every aspect of the game. I told him about some history of changes, the current event and the future. That guy hardly knew anything about it. He was happy as the game is, that made me think.
Back when i was lvl10, my first character, the friend who got me in CoH was already level14. She had the fly power. Overwhelmed by joy, FLYING!!! I didnt care about ED, bugs, lag, features, progress, boredom, or whatever devs announced to come soon (tm).
The longer you 'have' something, the faster you get bored of it. The more often you play, the worse it get. So now i combine games, along with the 'mighty one', and playing that for a while at 80, i noticed CoH really aint that bad. Great people, fun parties, divertisy in your 'job', i regained alot of joy playing the game again.
Sometimes i dont play for a few weeks, going back i can stick there for weeks again. As long i can keep it up, i'll be staying with CoH. Me, SinergyX, and my 3 other accounts

As I said in my latest posts on my website, there are no alternatives right now for me to play. And even though I feel a bit meh about MehMO's right now my subs don't run out till August 8. I'll give them until that date to really surprise me and then decide if I stay or go. Although I probably going to play CO whether or not it gets out before that time or after.

Other than the ubiquitous first flying moment, the coolest thing I've ever done in CoH was with my first toon being invited to a sewer run. At the time I had no idea what it was, or was for, but the group of eight random people who'd done nothing other than team up, rampaging through the sewers I found incredible and nothing like any other MMO I'd played.
Moments like that can still happen, but no so often now for us jaded not-new layers.

I loved this game when I started almost three and a half years ago, and even if it hadn't changed since then I would still love it. I even got the shakes earlier this year when I couldn't afford one of my subs for a whole two weeks.
CoX was my first MMO and if I have my way I'll never leave.

I've been here since day one of EU and I'm here to stay, I've dabbled with WoW and FFXI during my time but my sub for heroes has only ever been ended because I couldn't pay it for a couple of days.
I'm here, I'm going nowhere, people were complaining about the announcement? Why? OK we learned NOTHING new, but the last I checked we didn't get One, or Two devs in the training room with us, but FOUR!! In 4 years of EU I've only ever met ONE GM and in one day I meet and talk to 4 devs.
GhostRaptor and Avatea are not devs, they're EU community reps, and GR's leaving at the end of the week.

I also am not intending to go anywhere. I like the game. I get what I pay for, I pay to play the game I'm in, not to play what the game could be in a year.
I will , of course, be looking at CO and I may even move to it if its good enough but that wont be any reflection on whether or not a update was released.
45 Month vet here also not going anywhere. I am a bit disapointed at what is currently being added but that doesnt take away from the fact that i love to bits what we already have.

I am playing this game almost 5 years now and although and for me I-14 was a very good thing. I love playing with the MA. It is a whole new game out there with the added benefit that the game I loved and played is still there. I-15, will improve the MA a lot so I am not unhappy with it.
I have no plans of leaving this game just yet.
