And cm'on, yes it is annoying, and I'm usually the first to moan, but it's a new, very complex add-on, there's bound to be problems that need emergency fixes for some time even if it's been testet "properly".
This also goes to show that a "surprise" I15 or event would be a...bad...thing!

We all know these things happen and on unexpected times no matter which timezone (once i experienced a whole day of no gaming due to 14 hour patch which was only meant to be 6 hours or was it 4). What is annoying everyone is the lack of communication the US boards didnt even get a notice even the maintenaince on Tuesday got a mention on the boards but was a bit late . I can't see the problem why Paragon Studios can't seem to communicate with us their customers before hand whats wrong even if it's an emergency someone is there at the office and it's like they cant be sugared to tell players . if they told me i wouldnt be moaning on the boards i would simply go oh ok it needs that i'll go do some housework or get some work done for my job earlier
Here's a question, what do you think it will cost for DC universe online when it comes out? one off fee or monthly. nobody knows altough amazon have it up for pre order at around £50.
I'd say if DC Universe want to compete they'll need to have no fees. Doubt they'll get a large amount of users with fees compared to other MMOs out there.

DCUO will have most of the hero PvPers tbth the way that it is looking. CO will flop as it is a complete and utter mess and is a direct rip off of wow

well co was made for marvel, but they cancelled it so champions took over. looks a bit to cartoonie for me but i will test nevertheless

But thats slightly different. thats a demographic of players choosing to play on a server in a foreign country that operates in different time zones.
we are a demongraphic of players that chose to play on servers which were operated in our time zone.

Yes the 'do little attacks to build up a meter for bigger attacks' is pulled from WoW, namely Rogues in the combo point system and Warriors Rage (smaller attacks build up combo points and the heavy hitting attacks cost combo points, Rage works the same way Fury does with Brutes but the hard hitting attacks cost Rage).
Apart from that I really don't see a connection to WoW...

A real showstopper!
I'll tell you one thing. The awesome bug allowing capes with the Bolero has been partially fixed. I can't enter the game, but I can create a character and get to the editor. It doesn't let me load up a costume that uses the fringe.
Maddeningly I can still put a cape on it. It seems the high collar capes (basic, arcane, occult) and the Valkyrie cape can still be used with a Bolero. But this doesn't make any sense, because those capes clip horridly with the Bolero. Only the fringe and scarf capes looked right!
Just goes to show what happens when you don't put your patches on the test server.
