As far as I've noticed, the added letter shows up in all the key-binds related to chat. Also, when I hit c (which binds a channel) and posted a link, the c only appeared next time I hit enter to type in local.
Devs, I like you guys a lot anyway, but I would really love for this to be fixed as it's horribly irritating when roleplaying.

Changing channel in the UI crashes my client, so have had to bind workarounds for 2 chat channels since. NOw, I get \ and ' at the start of them (as those are the keybinds)

Mission selection!
You CAN select if someone's out of zone, but you sometimes CANNOT select a mission unless it is yours, it seems.

We were experiencing the mission selection bug too. The team lead could only select his own tasks so we had to play 'Pass the Star'.
Chat also seems to be behaving a bit odd with it picking up input from before you press Enter to start. I had several messages prefaced with 'wwwwwwwwaasds'

Did some testing with Doc Toerag and Doc Green.
If a mission is NOT flagged with a faction (Hero/Villain), then you can pick it from anyone's roster if you're team lead, regardless of whether all team members are in zone or not. (Hurrah! At bloody last, etc.)
If a mission IS Faction flagged, it can still be selected if not all members of the team are in the zone, but the team lead can only select their own missions of that type, so to select another team members factional mission, you need to play pass the star... (Boo! Too bleeding complex, and a pain in the waist capes)
I think that is how it's working at the moment.
But it's late and I'm tired. So if anyone's got any comments, queries or clarifications on how they think it's working, feel free to pipe up about it.
(I've not tried anything with a mixed team in Ourobouros or RWZ yet, so it may be entirely different in that situation)
PS and the beginchat keybinds picking up the key used in the bind as the first character is a pain in the waist capes, too. Since it doesn't actually display that initial character until you've started typing...

Getting the chat-channel bind glitch here too, as is everyone else I know of who uses them. Irksome to say the least.
Have also noticed that on zoning, there's a power-suppression effect on move-speed for around ten seconds or so, similar to the delay on the power dampening field in the Architect building's 'quiet room'.
I have not noticed the badges so will have a look look when i get home but I have noticed that all the SG flags have lost there colour.
Has anyone else had this happen?
Yes our base flags have all gone grey too. Although with all the other bugs introduced with I14 I guess I should be glad that the base is still there at all

Also when replying to tells i use R to reply, it prefixes the start of the message with R
very annoying , bugged it numerous times on test and also last night when i finally got onto live.

yep sg now has all badges and base is now asking for upkeep to be paid ..

Bug 1: found with Blue Rabbit yday, repeated repeatedly today: Select mission go in, only to find some in the team went to another instance of the same mission. Funny, but not that serious I guess, unless you're on the 5th mission of a looong arc.
Bug 2: Team of 2. I, as leader, select mission, go in, only to find my buddy in a completely DIFFERENT mission/arc that none of us selected, this on TEST MISSION too, so shouldn't be a database problem.
Bug 3: All of those destructible objects you can't destroy are rather annoying, even if they all of a sudden CAN be destroyed. Not to mention one of my badge bars moved like a rocket and I got it way before I should have (since it's related to another bar that hardly moves at all, lol). Nope, not gonna tell you what one!
Going out for dinner to celebrate my old man's 70th year on this wretched Earth! See you all tonight, and remember it's MY cake day on sunday, with a nice dance party to go with it, just to get you out of that MA building for a while and do something serious!

Happened to us a lot, a big pain.
*Sigh*
I'm not a big fan of "clickie" mez protection. Having a tank with intermittent mez protection until 22 seems like a bad design choice.
And now, every time I get into a mission, I have to wait because I DON'T HAVE MEZ PROTECTION!
