  2. I shall chip in here because I know you'll read it, and while I think you can see the mahoosive support for you, I still want to tell you myself what you guys has meant for me.

First time I heard about City of Heroes I was a gaming noob who made other people play through the bosses in zelda while I covered my eyes and went "EEEEEEEEEEEEEH" in a very un-manly fashion (although, that should not be surprising because I am in fact not a man).

I had a really epically old laptop, and it couldn't play it. But I was so convinced that I would like the game, that I went and bought it. Then I went out and bought a new computer.

Yes it's true. I bought a new computer -solely- to be able to play city of heroes. (okay yes, it's kinda sad). So I could roleplay on the union server. Hooked from the get-go.
I played through the tutorial, and I didn't know how to change my chat-channels, I didn't know binds. Christ, I didn't even know that the space-bar allowed me to jump! I ran through the entire tutorial without jumping once!

And I met my ex here. And I went over to England from Sweden just to meet him. ....kinda dangerous, but that is my middle name. And while that ended, by then I had made so many good friends. And we've had fights over the years, some left, and some joined. But god-damned in we are a good community.
We organised a player-meet at Alton Towers in England in 2009 for our supergroup, and it's one of the best days ever - and I will cherish that forever.
The community has helped me through up and downs in my life, and I hope so much we will keep this strong even after the game is long gone.

I want everyone at Paragon Studios to know that my thoughts and my hopes are with you. Having just gone through a similar situation, I know it's tough life. I whole-heartedly agree with earlier comments. Keep us updated where you go next, we'll come join you. You are by far the best developer team I've known of. Always keen on listening to your player-base and being supportive of our community efforts.

    Keep us updated!

With lots of hugs and love,

    -@.Q (or Perplexite)

That is entirely up to you! We knowingly chose vague themes so that it would be up to the player to interpret the theme.

    Also don't miss tonight's theme Noir-Et-Blanc!

    Welcome to union!

    Message off Facebook:

Hi all, we have unfortunately had to postpone Double XP Weekend due to an issue that we have identified and are currently resolving. Double XP Weekend will now be from August 11 at 9:00 a.m. PDT (5:00 p.m. BST) to August 14 at 11:59 p.m. PDT (August 15 at 7:59 a.m. BST). We understand your disappointment and we sincerely apologize for having to postpone the event. Thank you for your patience.

That's not what she meant. What Ceci (Perplexite) -did- say was that if destroying cities was all they worried about, they might as well nuke everything from orbit. The sarcasm that was meant got lost in writing, and I couldn't be arsed correcting it XD ICly she just thought they were too dumb for her to explain.
  24. So.... global rename tokens. Are those a yay or a nay?
