You know, this isn't really too weird:
Someone just realized they have a system based on mostly SENDING data and realised that when we all log in and start uploading all our premade story arcs the "captain, the engines can't handle it" story starts.

This is just a clever way of spreading the log-ins, and thereby the uploads so the servers don't die the hampster d34th of d00m. Some will stay on until the servers go live again, some will log on tomorrow morning, and yet more will log back in after work, spreading the stress of MA uploads thinner. Probably a lesson they learned after the launch of the black market etc.

Yes, we'll be, erhm, slightly annoyed, but they know we'll get over it, because we're addicts hooked to this dated-looking 5 year old child. ..and after all, it's just a game! (and hence the flames start...)
