The music in general for the game bar atlas park is rather poor, wouldn't mind an overhaul for sounds and music for the whole game.

I think Cimerora has some good music too - it sounds less "fake" - more like real instruments - and it's more epic too

A general musical overhaul would be nice. Maybe not stuff thats present all the time, but maybe replacing the 'background buzz' that some poeple have mentioned with a quiet background music?
Can always be turned off if people dont like it

Oh, and several tunes from the Rikti War Zone. The Crash Site being my personal favorite.
Then there's the first neighborhood in Faultline upon entering from Skyway City...
Oh god yeah, I remember my spine tingling first time I heard the Crash site music! -need to go back again-

Either that or do away with music in there completely and actively promote player lead DJing like Evo Radio.

The sound is so bad the last time I had it on was 4 days ago in order to find a glowie(which should have a separate volume control). Before that... Oh boy... Talking years here.
The only thing that would make me turn on the sound again is the classic Atlas Park Theme. Just because of nostalgia.
So any update to sound is a good update.
/signed. Would be nice to actuarially feel like using the in game music, rather then having it turned off and then playing mp3s.

Thanks. By the way, is it just me, or does the CoV directory have several good tunes that don't actually seem to be used anywhere in the game?
(Mmm. Several of the PvP zone tunes in Bloody Bay and Siren's Call are pretty good too. As is the Marconeville tune in PO.)

Make the 'music' in PD use the MUSIC volume... not the sound effects one.

Heh they could do theme nights. Would be interesting. Was a club round here that used to do a good variety of nights, of course I dont know what the other nights were like I only went to Metal night and Rock night

What about some actual club music, dance, trance, hardcore, psy-trance and so forth on a long and varied mix. Have DJ's whip up some sets. Get the guys from Evo radio to participate, or get some white-label folks from around the various rave-scenes. There's tonnes of great tunes and DJ's out there, some of them I imagine could even be gamers.
Need good tuuuunes!

Horrible music is horrible. Surely they could come up with a few mixes, and at least put them on a random cycle? Add a bit of variety, or something?
