With the mas lay offs at NCSoft Brighton it seemed that a EU server merge was close. However, it is obvious that they try to make a big splash with i14 and my bet is that they wont merge the EU servers just yet. However this might change in the future. Unsure which scenario they will pull then.
And don't listen to the others. They just feel a little excited about the open Beta and the other news.
