There is one, a mini Hydra GM, but isn't actually GM level, just Boss IIRC. Real Hydra GM is still in the sewer though.
Sadly, there's not much point while the rewards for defeating a GM are so pitiful.
Agreed with Calamity. If you're not intrested in badge-hunting, then GMs really are pointless.
Tbh, even if GM's rewards are tuned up, they still wouldn't be more popular.
Maybe the problem is because they are too hard. Tune 'em down a bit, so maybe they can be dealth with under 8 people.
I'd like so see any minions that a GM has or summons have the same code is the Rikti or Zombie invasions, so they scale to your level - this would also include Troll ravers and Supatrolls, as well as the Ghosts from the Ghost Ship, and the Hellion arsonists.

GM's are far from hard, other way in fact, a good team can take down the Jack / Eochai combi easily...a team of six took down adamastor with ease, Col.Blitz was there for that, was pitifully easy lol...and from my earlier post, a team of 2 took down 3 multi spawned titans on sunday night...if anything they need to be harder

GM rewards were reduced cause they were farmed....ah the good old days of 1-30 from luska........ myeh anyway, granted i think they took them down too far, worth less than an AV (or about the same) and ive not seen the 'boss' in faultline as of yet or heard anything different.
but as of my original post something new, sort of like a mix between the Hydra and the Hamidon with a touch of Luska.
Big sludge with spawned tenticles...
speaking of GM rewards, i was highly disappointed with the fact Luska pretty much requires you to take down the 8 tenticles before assaulting the head, yet still only offers 2 merits for the whole thing, rather than 2 per appendage.

My view is that if they don't want people farming they shouldn't have introduced a 'currency' system. Once they introduced that, widespread farming was inevitable. The cat's out of the bag now, no point trying to stuff it back in.
indeed. lets say for example a player was all grumpy one day and didn't bother helping out take down the tentacles, then joined in on the assault on the head, they'd still get the merits and the badge, for only a fraction of the work.

I think a GM or two extra would be nice. Some kind of 'unearthed' CoT villain in Faultline (it used to be TEAMING with CoT) ? Perhaps a big arachnos GM (just not the thing from the end of Silos' TF) ?
Why not release a GM in RWZ, around the base of the ship?
Something in Cimerora? You've got the chance to do some great mythological beast, or some big and nasty nictus baddie.
I think a fresh GM would be nice. I love the classic ones - but that's just what they are - classic.

Thing about GMs is thier spawn rate was changed to be quite high, because they where frequently missed. With a high spawn rate the reward has to be low to prevent farming.
Now that we have notification of GMs spawning, the actual spawn rate could be reduced, which would alow the reward to be increased.
GMs should then get thier merit rewards set on a case by case basis.
We could then have a couple more villain side GMs added. I would go for a Wailer GM in St. Martel.
And a Cimmeroran GM.

Forgive the semi-noobness, but what do you have to have switched on to hear about GM's spawning?
I mean... I've never seen an announcement saying "Lusca is STILL in IP" (ok, seriously, that's because he never leaves).
But on a more serious note, I've never seen an Adamastor (DA), Eochai (Croatoa) or Jurrasik (Crey's) announcement before...

I know the Handie SG occasionally have GM hunting nights and they are always a laugh

If we have an SG team together, and we're done running missions, and say have about 30mins to spare before we call it a night, we go GM hunting for fun It's nice to bring down a monster, threatening the city, with your Super Group. Kinda defines the point (one of the points) of having an SG - the Avengers bring down monsters all the time - do you see them saying "Badges! Merits! Give me something or I'll just let it destroy Manhattan!"

I'd rather they just despawned themselves after a while. Apart from a bit of fun (which wears pretty thin after the hundredth time) there's no point at all in taking on the paladin for instance.
Plus, unecessary debuffs does not make for happy campers. On the flipside, however, if there was a decentzone-buff and a minor global one, it'd make ALL players have something to gain from it, not just the ones who would be in level range of King's Row or such.
Alternatively, a (themed) temporary power or buff for the players involved might also prove to be a good reward

That sounds cool!
Death surge/the clockwork one being electric could give an endurance buff for example. Not sure about the others.

Sorry yes debuff was probably a bad choice as there will be times when the GM couldn't be taken down.

Or hows about some special monster hunter recipes that you can use to make temp powers specially themed for monster hunting things like
Elephant gun: this large bore Rifle causes extreme damage to GM class monsters (limited use temp that dose special damage Vs any Mob classed as a GM)
Electro Harpoon: This specialised harpoon gun delivers a shocking surprise to any giant monster it hits (limited use temp that dose a long stun and a hefty dose of damage to GMs)
Super web grenade: A larger version of the standard web grenade with specially concocted webbing for taking down those larger than normal critters (limited use temp that can immobilize a GM as well as slowing its re gen)
Also get all the GMs and you could be awarded a accolade.
Monster Hunter: you have proved yourself time and again that when it comes to rampaging monsters your the man to call (+specil damage when tackling GM class critters )

I have - but as far as I know, they don't actually despawn - so a GM can appear, and be around for ages - there might only be one announcement a day.

I though i remember there being rumours of a GM in the new Faultline something like "Theres something created in the water by the oil spill"
got me thinking, how about a giant sludge type GM with toxic damage that rises from the water after killing say 200 Vaz from morning to night, kinda like caleb...
