  1. Does anyone else remember/go to this back in March 2008?

    Don't know about anyone else, but this (as sad as it is) was the best weekend of my life. Competitions, Games, 24/7 Beer, Ms. Liberty and GhostWidow models... Need I say more?

    What's the likely hood of another event like this to happen again in the future? Thoughts and Comments please!

    Well i've been gone for 2 years and kinda hoped it'd be fixed by now, but if they're waiting for the server list merge, then thats fair enough... when's it supposed to happen?

    ye, my point exactly lol, wold be ncie to have a quick link to a working status update instead of having to attempt a log on every hour or so to see if its changed...

    wonder if they'll fix it with the server list merge?

    I know that the servers have been taken down for the i20 update today, but whats the point in the Server Status link on the NC launcher? they never update it...

  8. Heya guys, for those who may or may not remember me, I used to Play CoH pretty much religously since the day of its EU release up until roughly August 2009 (Before i left for Uni)

    Well I'm back now, and ive noticed theres been a lot of changes since i15, if anyone can gimme a quick update of the major things (such as the incarnate system, how it works)?

    Also im still living in uni halls for the mean time and im working at getting CoH actually unblocked, so i wont be fully up and running until such time, so im on for a few mins here and there temporarily using my phone tethering.

    If anyone can give me an updated list of IP addresses for the EU servers and the ports required, I would be greatful!
  9. Was thinking, would be great if we could award players with a temporary power at the start/during/end of a mission and the ability to add a weakness to this power on a bosses settings....

    also while im at it, how about animation based fighting between 2 groups, or the ability to change hostage and alike mobs to just 1 enemy guard the captive so animations make more sense rather than hostage using ground animation of being punched and a mob of 6 guards randomly hitting different areas of the ground.

    ahhh, no, our old skool team we set up skipped kings and went the old fashioned way, but with the re-configured hollows spawns, no gulch run

    To be fair thats no-ones fault apart from us the players. We have all/mostly taken the easy route of going to kings row first. Such a shame that by the time you've got the jetpack that your almost level 10 and can easily bypass the hollows then.

    I originally left the game 2 and a half months ago cause i was bored of the current content and all the farming that was going on... a week after i left, Rent informed me Matt Miller was cracking down on farming... came back 2 weeks ago to find its just as strong as ever except they're still removing mobs instead of modifying for MA use, everone was farming and only a handful of players were doing regular teams.

    Well, me and @Soul Storm got together tonight and made new characters in an attempt to try and bring back the old days of missions and we got a few players from Sals Badgehunters channel together and got a team going!

    Just like the old days, 8 of us bruising the skulls, hellions and council in atlas park missions and then we moved into the Hollows to pummel some trolls and outcasts! I havent had so much fun in CoH for almost a year, if not longer...

    My character currently got from 1-13 tonight and i plan to continue tomorrow night on Union server in the Hollows from 5pm GMT until i get to Atta, then we're gonna shift over to Faultline...

    If theres anyone else who fancies a trip down memory lane, gimme an ingame tell to @infurnus and/or reply to this post!
  14. the escort out objective is fine in the sense he fights back, but the mission completes about 5 seconds before he turns aggressive meaning most people will quit and not realised.

    the allies who detoggle themselves, aswell as the escort are all set to Fight Defensive, they will fight but only if attack or the person they are following is attacked.

    Came on to nominate an arc i love....On a side note however about the previous arc if the devs/gm's get round to it, its designed for a large team of 8 or so and is extremely difficult the further you get in!

    anyway, back to the nomination!

  17. unfortunately i need a female pb without forms, tbh i dont see how that'd be hard to AI as its the same as any other set, they could even limit the powers choosable to 9 a side if they had to...

    npc's with toggle powers such as dispersion bubble who are rescued turn it off... annoying when they dont use it at all...

  19. now... when you say re-skin.... you saying i could say add sunstorm in and change how he completely looks so i can add my pb in on his frame or only his colours like most npc's?

  23. This question is mainly for the devs but unless anyone else has heard along the grapevine, feel free to answer!

    Mission Architect: Are we going to eventually (like i60 or sumthing) going to get an easy to use tool to create and edit cutscenes with?

    been working on some new arcs and really wanted to put it in, but i find i dont have the attention span or the time to learn demo record/edit, creating the thing, re-recording the thing in fraps or sumthing then posting it on youtube with links in my story....

    Really wanted cutscenes....
  24. I've got an escort objective in a mission with the option for the ally to betray set to true, its the last objective of the mission and the mission completes when the ally is escorted, not after being defeated by the player, as intended. also when the ally betrays, he doesnt fight.

    any info if this is known at all and if so if/when a patch will be available?
