Speaking of the US boards...

The US boards get quite a lot of developer attention. I'd like to know whether they also follow the EU boards? (Or do the Community Coordinators relay all interesting discussions, proposals, and questions to a developer?)

Can we get write access to the US boards even if we're playing on the EU servers, or would we need to get a US account for that?

Yes, they do, not nearly as much as the US boards. Yes, you need a US account to post to their forums.

Usually the mods here will submit reports and such to the Developers.

They do read these boards since while looking at the US ones, iv seen numerous times the devs mentioning us over here (often in good spirit believe it or not).

Should they post more here? Yes of course.
Are we being ignored/overlooked? Highly guess not

At least they're very talkative when they're taking part of any event EU side. Every time I've been on Several of'em have initiated and engaged in private chats with me.

They do care, but of course the EU market is VERY small (but very dedicated). To boost our morale a few posts would go a long way though.

I wonder if they have in-game accounts EU side btw. Would be fun to see them lead a Siren's call pvp event or something every now and then. Dev/community stuff like that - even if players can arrange it as well - always gets me excited.

I do like to know the Devs are watching and listening to us but during this phase of issue production I really only like to see patch notes that way I know they are working their collective butts off for us

But I'd like to see a LOT more dev chat over here. I feel ignored, neglected even, by the devs because they rarely ever come here. The last time I saw a dev step foot in the EU was War Witch in MiniCon. And very VERY little players ever went to that.

The devs need to post here more and go here more, then assure us we're not being ignored and neglected. Peroid.

Generally PvP Skill is the last thing that applies in those Dev / Mod lead PvP events. They're more like a PocketD event with "Gank the Dev" thrown in. The Rogue Islands invasion and the Bridger / Rockjaw lead Sirens Call events for example.

...and really, it was only an example of what's been done that I liked. ANYTHING is better than nothing. I rarely pvp either. It took me up until a few months before I bothered to make a pvp-worthy alt (hey, I buff/debuff/heal/control, I don't do damage) but events like that with 100 people ganking each other (well, the devs/Bridger/Rockjaw/etc) is no problem for any of my alts, it's just a lagtastic fun community event.

Wouldn't have to be PvP. They could organise a community event to force spawn Jack and Eochai and kill them.

I'd rather the devs were devving, than talking to us here. The moderators are the medium for which we can pass our coments to the developers, and vice versa. Given the way in which almost every thread melts down into madness, I can't see what incentive the devs have to come here and trawl through the threads to 'get involved'. It's hard enough as a player to read some of the conversations that get whipped up.

The developers have created a function to refund owed prestige on bases when I13 is released. This was a hot topic in the base thread. I can only assume that moderators forwarded these complaints to development, and the issue was then raised as a priority.

It is unsafe to make assumptions. There are many things we don't have in common with the US - and I'm grateful for it!
