I find this in particular insulting and annoys me... its a similar situation when I look at /search..
I see search comments that say "I WILL NOT FILL / FARM / PL so DO NOT ASK"
To be honest people with hostile search comments like this would encourage me to send them tells saying "fill plox" ~ lol

As you can see from my first post Vox, I was commenting on a generic response and attitude given to all farmers asking for a filler.
I was explaining how farmers should not be tarred with the same brush, and they should not be so hostile towards us and that was the reasoning behind my reply.
Now.... as for these comments you made, ill answer them all together because you don't seem to be reading my responses properly, because you are saying the
same things I have answered already,, so this should clear it up.

Filling is not teaming, it takes the amount of time for the farmer to run round the map once at superspeed, it's the easies help you will ever give another player in game.

I don't remember complaining that people don't want to fill, I have been commenting on the attitude in general towards the filling ideal. Please stop repeating yourself.

Ermmm.... sorry, but I have to correct you there - it's completely possible to be contacted via /tells when you're on a mission map. I know this to be true because.. well, put it this way: if I had a pound for every /tell I've had saying "wanna team?" or the like whilst I've been in the middle of a mission map, it would have covered my subs for the entire 15 months I've been playing.

My apologies. I assumed that "you cannot be invited to a team" included invites to teams via /tells, and not exclusively the invite function which pops up the box. I also misread the part that says "the only people to get /t's would be the ones that are yes,,, out a mission..."
( hope the above doesn't read as sarcasm, because there is none intended.)
I'm certain I've had team invite boxes pop up whilst I've been in missions though - one in the Frostfire one meant I didn't see an ice patch and ended up careering into a wall, and another villain-side when I was stealing supplies from the boat and getting caned by three Fang soldiers.

That shouldn't happen. Team invites shouldn't be sent if you're on a mission. Don't know if that was always the case but it certainly is now.
I'm pretty sure I've had them too, but I could be mistaken. However, just because you aren't in a mission map, doesn't mean you are free to fill. You could be getting a new mission, or doing a 'kill x gang members' mission.

That was partially in response to you saying that people should play a console game if they don't want to get contacted. I didn't quote it though. But still, if they don't want to fill for whatever reason, be that because they don't want to even be in a team with somebody else or because they just don't have time, isn't that their prerogative?

Your argument is that there is no reason for somebody not to fill. That you can't see any reason for someone to say "no" to a fill request. So what do you do if somebody does say no? Do you argue with them that there's no reason for them not to?

It shouldn't matter what their reason for not wanting to fill is, you have no right to complain about it, calling them selfish.

I'll make my edit more on topic: If I got a message from someone saying "fill plox" when I've made it clear in my search comment that I won't fill, I'd put them on ignore.

Well, tbh, if you follow through with actually sending them tells then that attitude would stink - and may even help turn players against any (more reasonable) filler requests that they may get.
If people say in the search comment that they won't do something then respect their wishes and don't even bother asking them.
Past that, It's a shame that people may respond rudely/curtly or not at all. But why are people doing this? Part of this may be:
* people not responding as they're too busy/missing tells - fair enough. Even if some people chose to respond in 6 keystrokes others may want to give a full answer or none at all...
* people being sick of rude tells from other farmers - in my experience for every polite tell asking for you to fill you get 5 or 6 tells that just say 'fill' or similar. People may not be responding directly to your tell in isolation, but answering from the frustration of several semi-literate tells.
* lack of relevant language skills - the EU servers get more than their fair share of non-native speakers (on all of them).
I'm sure that I've not responded to filler tells for both the first two - but I'll normally try and respond with a literate reply. Even on Zukunft/Vigilance I've tried to reply with a 'sorry - I speak English - you may not want me' type reply if receiving a tell and not quite understanding it...
If I'm travelling a fair distance or at WW/BM (or a similar low-activity activity) I'll virtually always fill - heck it's no skin off my nose; but I wouldn't expect anyone else to fill if I wanted fillers - it's the subscribers choice.
(Personally) I think that the key factor is that most filler tells seem very brief - along the lines of "fill" followed by an effectively-blind invite. These will always get turned down by me - not becuase they are filler requests but because they are effectively blind-invites or can't be bothered to phrase the request in (at least) semi-literate English.
And they can (if I receive enough in a short space of time) result in me turning down more literate/acceptable requests that I may receive shortly after.
ofc if I now start receiving a lot of filler requests after posting this then my long-term attitude may change...

if ppl like to power lvl just for the epics, they have all full rights for doing just that.

People might want to team, but not fill/farm/PL - in that case setting the "do not search team" option wouldn't do what they want.
People do have the right to PL, but that's a completely separate issue to sending tells whose sole purpose is to annoy people that don't want to.
it's a choice you make, ether deal with it or just don't search teams.
tho, there should be an extra option "lft role playing", so you can do it slowly if you want to.
