8 Masterminds - unstoppable?

Sounds very, very chaotic and could be fun. A lot of AoE will hurt the pets but if there are so many around I cant think of a realistic situation where an AI controlled NPC (or multiple NPCs) could take down an army like that. Especially if you have debuffs raining from secondaries, like 8x tar patch or something.

Oh god i don't even want to think about that, an army of 126 trying to fit in there >_<
could be worse - could have a family consig drop a sing just at the entrance to the corridor you need to go down - all that melee damage that cant't get near melee range

With a Singy playing pinball and an Burning Oil Slick Patch my Grav/TA could have great fun with them
I reckon 8 Illusion/Stormies would eat them alive as well, 24 PAs to distract everything, 8 Tornados & Lightning Storms to rip them to pieces. And all the time the casters would be invisible... and dropping Fears and Confuses.
My Mercs completely fall appart with any sort of patch really. Necro's not too bad cause I dont need them bunched up to keep them alive, they have self preservation it seems. But Mercs and Thugs tend to group, scatter them and its ouch time

I dont they are that strong, several powers can whipe tier 1 in seconds, such as a few nice +4/+5 longbow flametrowers (burn and the cone) or a nice AV AoE (any can do) can whipe em out in seconds.
Cut down to 6 and add 2 sonic, forst or thermal corrupters, now we're talking. (i say cap resist everything? )

And 78 of the 128 Thugs henchmen are going to be the even weaker Gang War minions. I've seen all 10 of mine die to a Council boss with one fancy sweeping move.
No need. Half of the MM's would crash due to lag issues.

Having been on a base raid with an all-Thugs SG, I don't think there's much to stop them tbh (except lag): stacked Enforcer buffs = win

Yep was thinking of 8 mind or plant trollers or doms but tbh just about anything thats heavy on AoEs would likely rip them apart - or take them up aginst GoS's followers and hope you don't crash the server or Rularu or Lanaru would probably make a mess of them - and good luck even reaching Hami.
