Apparently, the first time it was turned on, when they all atatcked the zones at once, may have been unintentional, and they're supposed to come in waves like the Rikti, and then have some downtime between the attacks.

I played for two hours earlier, and there wasn't even a hint of one.

Well the Rikti ones have quite long pauses between them sometimes.

I think that since about 09:30 GMT (so 10:30 UK local), there's been 2 zones invaded on each of Union and Defiant CoH (Union: Eden/Croatoa, Defiant: Striga/PI). Not sure that CoV on either English language server has had one today...
So, good news is that it doesn't appear to be favouring Union over Defiant. Bad news is that it's just not turning out for any of us with anything like a reasonable frequency...
For such a casual-friendly game I really can't believe that the invasions are WAI at the moment.

I can't say I've seen anything of the mouldering wretches.

Well I got home from work at 4 and logged in just after an invasion. Three and a half hours later I logged off for dinner and not so much as a sniff of any undead action. The rikti raids were quite frequent and this uses the same engine so I don't know why it is so rare, especially at times of day when more people will be on. Its nice for those people off work and off school but for those of us with a real life to juggle it isn't so good.
Only have seen two invasions...as I wasn't in a team it meant two zombies at most(not counting the trick and treat ones) attacked me.
But them did those reanimated corpses looked good(for reanimated corpses that is...)can't they make those outfits available for players

I was in an invasion yesterday but was duoin with a friend of mine, i didnt expect that many zombies for a team of 2 :| If im honest i kinda struggled since they caught me off guard with how strong their attacks actually are (which is good).
Next time, i'll be ready

Found a new game tho and if you get a couple of full teams and start at the ferry and head to the Portal Corp Gate and stand by the guard towers, after clicking as many doors as you can on the way there, You get some herd that is well worthy of being an invasion all on its own. It is awesome fun. Just warn people it is happening as they might wanna stay away from the main road whilst approx 200 mobs running down it to get you ala micheal jacksons thriller

This only prooves my point, is it just me or do we have some lazy zombies or what??
Just played 4 hours on Zukunft. Not a single Invasion.
My guess is they are triggered somehow.

going to ask a favor of people since I wont be up all of tonight.
Could anyone who is up throughout the night post the time of any Zombie Invasions that do turn up, so we can see if there's a timed pattern or it is a lot more random and thus appearing to be triggered.
Edit: Bah GR has already confirmed they are timed and also less frequent than Rikti invasions (apparently there is also a hidden trigger, knowing what that trigger is would be nice).
GR could you please confirm what the length of the timer is just so people know, the Rikti invasions it's (if I remembere correctly) every 2 hours during Invasion week so what exactly are the timers for the Zombie invasion and have you thought about tweaking them? As of right now I personally feel that the timer is way too long if it's over 4 hours.

Just finished up with one in Atlas. Carnal Sin, despite not being in a team, still managed to pick up the badges for slaughtering a hundred zombies, 33 lieutenants, and an Elite Boss.

I'm seeing sporadic invasions of various zones this minute, instead of the mass zonal gank of earlier today when every zone was hit simultaneously.
Having finally gotten to try them out, I too will have to say "well done". Even when solo (on fire/fire blaster), the zombies kept coming after me non-stop (unlike rikti attacks, where there's sometimes pauses to breathe) and really kept me on my toes trying to stay alive. I love how they come out of the ground too.
Tomorrow I'll try a character that has a self-heal, and some resistances/defenses.

thats the big difference i find between the two invasions, with rikti there was really no challenge at all. These zombies while solo are pretty tough for us squishies

not a terrible idea.
Is it just me, or does it appear to be taking too long for a zombie invasion to appear? I mean dont get me wrong but isn't zombies meant to be the most vile and relentless on-slaught race of mutated flesh-eaters? I mean seriously! I logged on yesterday to find 3 zombie invasions going in mid-afternoon then come hero side today and I heard over on the Union badge hunters that only 2 invasions where like in mid-day and they were in high level hazard zones!
I guess my reason of posting this is; aren't these zombies meant to be coming at us continously or something? Rather than 2-3 times every 6-12 hours?
