The shields look a lot better in the video than the early screenies from the test server, though that's probably due to the colouring and such.
REALLY liking the look of that fire shield in action, as well as the Talsorian one though I'd imagine that'll be one we'd have to aquire with Vanguard Merits so that means I'll have to wait until post-lvl 35 for that, so it kinda takes some of shine off it (and it'd look great with a tech based BS / shield scrapper with the tech sword IMO)
Great now i gotta decide between a fire shield or a talsorian one 
(they equal two different alts imo )

I'm a bit disappointed in the pain domination. All villain power effects seem to be tinted red, which is boring.

They had to redo many animations to work with a shield. It's possible it's not actually a shield attack per se, but Punch from the Superstrength set with a retooled animation that makes it look like you smacked them with the shield.

Shield Bash used to be in the set, but was replaced by Shield Charge. However, Shield Charge does not work properly, so Shield Bash may go back in.

Yea samehere, dunno if its cos I looked at the piccies of the different shield types or not. Pain dom just wasn't shown in a very good light...maybe its time for a break

I'm not changing this signature until I'm proclaimed 'King of the World'.
I think they've done well, from the viewpoint of not showing us the really nice things too-soon, thus spoiling any surprises they have hidden in the sets. It leaves me wanting more.

Personally I love the new look of Pain domination (red is my fav. colour) but I think it would be cool to have new casting animations rather than just recycling the storm and other set poses.. even though it means we get the sets quicker.
And Shields? *drools*
