What is the rarest powersets combo? For example, I hardly see any /trick arrow MM around.

Nevermind the combos are rubbish or difficult or not. I am just curious to know which few are the rarest.

I was going to say Umbral Blast/Umbral Aura but then I thought about it a little more and figured if 1- 2% of characters created are Warshades then that can't possibly be the rarest. I dunno really, I don't play enough anymore to know.

Defiant 50�s: Generalissimo, Righteous Bob, Splortch, Brutus Cayuga
Union 50's: Chimera Obscura, Diet Anthracite, Grim Proctologist, Puny Little Minion, Raging Bitumen

There was a few threads around the AT sections 'name your tanks/scrappers' etc which someone started to later do an analyses of such things, The raw data is probably still there if you can be bothered analysing it

Oh I'm not so sure about Trick Arrow being the rarest anymore since Trick Arrow Controllers seems to have gone up in popularity.

Now Sonic Resonance or Dark Armor anything... Only seen one other Dark Armor tanker and perhaps two Sonic Resonance Defenders.

Didn't we get some stats a while ago for the most popular ATs? I wonder if they've done something similar for the power sets?

I've got a trick arrow/archery defender, not that he gets played much.

I also have a dark/dark stalker.

I don't think those types are going to be that rare, but they may be less played. /DA Scrappers aren't that uncommon.

I've no idea what the least common types are. I suspect there are a few combinations which fall into the bracket of 'not very many people make these' though.

If we go by the obvious combos of TA/Arch, Fire/fire, Dark/Dark and such then those are sure to be rather common.
But Fire/Dark, TA/Energy, FF/Arch and Psi/Devices are more uncommon.

Still think the rarest combo must be the troller that illusion master mentioned a year or so back. Storm/Kin or something similar iirc - so rare that I still haven't seen one yet (though give power proliferation a couple of years and I suppose it's just possible...)

Rarist powerset. I don't think I have ever seen any blasters Ice/Dev, Sonic/Dev, AR/Ice.

Ummm...I rarely see Plant/ controllers or /Warmth controllers. Maybe cause I have only been playing my 50s lately but I would have thought some would be 50 by now.

Not saying there ain't any out there but Cold Domination defenders are a rarity for me and I haven't seen a fire tank in ages. Seen very few tanks with NRG melee or Ice melee.

Infact lately I have seen very little apart from every type of scrapper imaginable. Maybe cause I am in missions so much I don't go for walks around the city as much as I used to and are starting to only notice people I team with.

I have a Fire/Dark Corruptor - Tar Patch + Rain of Fire is a chuckle, but nevertheless you're not wrong - I don't play it that much...

In other news, I've seen a bucketload of Plant/ and /Thermal controllers recently, as well Plant/Thermal. I myself have a nice Plant/Rad and a slightly less well established Earth/Thermal going at the moment.

It's my understanding that if anyone mentions anything - ANYTHING AT ALL - as being a rare/not so popular/vanishing/whatever combo, all that will happen is that someone else is bound to turn up here and say that they've just seen a whole team of them take down the Ghost of Scrapyard without breaking a sweat and the next thing you know Assault Rifle/Sonic Resonance Corruptors will be the new byword for "uber".

Or not.

In general since you can have Fire/Dark Tankers, Brutes and scrappers aswell.
Think my point was was that if it is harder to believe something to work together like an Ice/Fire Tanker then it will be more uncommon than a a Fire/Fire tanker. (did this make sense?)

ice/dev blasters are PvP builds so therefre u see them more in PvP and yes there are a few of them about

I have a Fire/Dark tank
and a TA Troller

Son/Ice Blaster i havent seen though gad zooks why ud wanna play it awful synergy and mediocre damage even with def 2.1

Is not going to remain VIP after Jan 14th 2012, but may remain an active Premium account holder.
