tbh highly unimpressed, what happened to i13 being massive?

[/ QUOTE ]

It is - you'll find the Mission Creator is one of the most massive bits of content ever added to the game - just give it a little time

I agree I think the mission creator and the day jobs thing *do* sound massive...

bwuh?! how can you not see how big a bit of work it is to bring the mission builder to the game?

Not only what a monumental impact it'll have on the game as a whole but also how much actual codey/testy work there is to bring what is effectively a closed perpetual beta product they use in development to make arcs/storys and put it out to us as a usable and non crackable product.

/me bemused.

Plus, Shields were a job so big that they had been taken entirely off the table as impossible. They've brought them to us regardless, because we asked (shouted and demanded).

I think the offensive use was what was holding them back - if you drop the idea of the shield ever having to leave the avatar's hand, then it becomes a lot easier, I think.

I think it's as big an Issue as the Flashback issue, if not actually bigger!

It all sounds incredible, just wish we got shields before the Zombie horde

Why isnt any prolifications listed? the announcment is a bit thin and i hate having to wait for little bits of info. Would be nice to have something more to look forward to.

because its an overview, not a specific list of patch notes.

[/ QUOTE ]Wrong. It's the fact that the animation system of the game is very restrictive, so every power that can be used by a character with a shield powerset needed an alternate animation for that purpose.

Your story should be: " How PRAF68 got his creativity boost."
It'd be great! You could have a marvellous adventure, and I could be in the forums scene!

Okay, so a system that lets players the world over create their own missions and story arcs for people to play in and enjoy isn't massive?

Two new power sets, a new system of rewards for accomplishing tasks in game to unlock things, two new power sets for several ATs, powerset proliferation probably to come, more than likely global zone changes, a system for earning badges and extra things while offline, supergroup base enhancements...

If all that isn't massive, I kinda wonder what your idea of massive is.

One little phrase got my attention though: "Zone Refinements".

Wonder what they are going to be refining after 13 issues. Would be kinda funny if that was their term for a remake of boomtown :P
