I'm still wondering how Shield Stalkers work.
"Hey Dave, is that a villain in the corner?"
"Nah, it's just a shield."
"What if someone's hiding behind it?"
"Who would do that?"

This is awesome

Do you think we will we be able to get all the "Day Job" badges by rotating the places we log out at?

[/ QUOTE ]

That would be quite cool... although I dunno how someone could be a doctor, a caretaker, a fashion icon etc all at once? Tho I guess people get new jobs in real life....

[/ QUOTE ]

That doesn't matter - it's the badges that count

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah but maybe it would be nice to have some badges that are unobtainable based on the choices you make. I guess that might not be the popular opinion tho

The pre-order helmets were listed recently too.

Because I don't think it's fair asking us to pay IF we want extra cossie pieces. Though I'll still end up paying because I'll want the pieces for a cyborg toon I've had in the works....

And to you GG, I say!

Day jobs = AMAZING!

There are some nice little extras that they are asking money for - extras that aren't essential for playing the game. The rest of Issue 13 looks full of new features and additions. I don't see how you can make the jump to think they will be asking us to pay for all the new stuff in the future.

but its depreciation, its like saying 'i bought my pc 4 years ago for 2k and now oxfam are giving the same pc away i want my money back' its because they aint worth anything anymore other than freebies that are nice.

Well, if you can hide yourself (and remember you could be hulking 9 foot tall glowie person) you could probably hide a shield as well...

I really should do something about this signature.

pre-order helmets and booster packs are completly different.

The helmets you got as a BONUS for pre-ordering cov where as the booster packs you have to pay specifically for.

The only booster pack I can think of atm is the wedding pack and none of that has turned up as a vet reward.

Not to mention the pre-order helmets were always going to be given out at some point. I remember reading a post on the us forums around the release of cov saying that the helmets would be given out in the future.

But is the Stalker's secondary powerset not said Stalker's method of hiding?
I apologise, I thought it was.

Blimmin' Aqua bigot!

ANYWAY.

Great issue, potentially the best yet, minus the booster payment.

Nope, none of them give any mention of how Hide actually works. How would you hide behind electricity?

tbh highly unimpressed, what happened to i13 being massive?

Paint yourself blue?

I dunno. How would you surround yourself in it?
Damn. I sound like I'm answering back now.
Maybe I should just stop. >_>

How you justify your stalker being able to hide with a shield is your own conceptual choice. I could be driving a tank around for all it matters, if I slap on an honest to God cloaking device people are going to catch a 120mm critical to the face when they investigate a pair of tracks with no apparent source.
