Can you get a purple recipe out of it? Nope, just TF pool recipes.
And seeing how bad the design of TF and trial pools is, I think having people farm those to bring some of the rarest recipes to the market is a good thing.

Also, I agree with MaX in this instance.
CoV respecs can be done in about 17-20 minutes if you want to. Katie Hannon can be done in 25-30. Eden trial is on the trial timer, so the recipes are on a timer, so 'farming' is not possible, and the mobs are under 50, so no purples
So please snow, elaborate on a) this 'exploit', and b) Why this is a bad thing. Because i'm struggling to find either

Why should that matter to you? Take pride in how you did it, and let others have their fun. If they enjoy getting a fast time, then let them enjoy it.
CoX is an easy game anyway, IOs and general good players who know the ins and outs of the trial, will result in fast times.
The Issues of farming is totally irrelevant (no purples, and 3/24 (can't remember which timer) hours before they can get their l33t trial recipe, after completion), so I'm not quite sure what you have an issue with.
You earned the badge 'good and proper', so did I. So Do I, infact...normally takes my SG 45mins to an hour, we don't care for rushing it, as it's a nice trial. But don't demand to limit those who enjoy getting a fast time, amongst cries of 'OMG FARMING!' and plain jealousy
First off Snow I respect you alot my friend but Please stop demanding things like this shouldnt happen, it doesnt hurt how you play nor should it.
Secondly Purples on the Eden Trail? Last I heard you can only get Purples off level 50 Mobs and the eden trail doesnt go up to 50.
Thirdly It really is up to them how they do it, If they do it like that Fine let them, when I do it I would wanna do it normally yes but if it was a fast one then Oh well let them, gets me a Badge.
Finally if its getting Recipes onto the Market then Go for it, look what the ITF has done to the Magic Salvage Market, not even a Mil for some of the Salvage and it use to go to 5 mill for some.
My thoughts anyway.

[/ QUOTE ]It's always been possible to do it like that, the only problem being the titan if you don't ambrosia farm, but even that has several workarounds.
And the 4-hour limit is a joke, like all time limits in CoH except for the sewer trial and one PI mission.

People are not doing it for the achievement, they are doing it for the reward of a quick recipe. I don't see how quick someone does a tf affects you and takes away any achievement?
Its not too hard to do Eden and doesn't really require a select team (do need a couple of blasters for the quick damage) - people just load up on defence inspiration and attack main targets like the wall ignoring mobs and move onto next bit.
I won't tell you how fast can do other TF's but lets say you probably be shocked.

Yep just done a couple of them in about 15 minutes myself, no exploit, no cheat no special team and no decent recipe 
My SG run this regular, and the key to this is having a team that can deal with the AV's. That's it. If you ignore as many mobs as possible and just gun down the GM's this TF has that one hunt. Where everything can be much lower than you, then you've got half a dozen enemies you have to focus on. We've taken down the Crystal Titan in less time than it takes for one ambrosia to wear off. We use a good tank, and a Rad/Sonic defender and then a ton of damage.
Considering that other trials can be run just as quickly, I don't feel that picking your fights and moving as a team can be considered an exploit. In fact, it's become something of a challenge to see how fast we can do it

10 minutes is quite a good run, 12 or 15 is more usual from what I've seen. I expect it will get changed at some point to slow people down somewhat.

I think I see where Snow is coming from. IMO TF/SFs are meant to be a challenge. The new Time's Arrow (Impy) TF was buffed due to complaints of it being to easy. If the Dev's catch on to the Eden Trial being to easy to complete, they might buff that (but I hope not). I've only ever done the Eden trial once and it was a LOT of fun. One of the most enjoyable TFs I've ever done. To complete it in 10mins would feel like cheating to me.
10 mins to do an Eden TF does seem absurb, but then what is the problem there? I have done this a few times and in much much longer times. It is a TF I enjoy very much so the time does mean nothing to me or the people I have teamed with to do it.
It is not an exploit, nor anything the devs need to concern themselves with. Play it hoe YOU want to play it. Personally I play for fun!

Correct, no TF should be completable in 10 mins.
And no idea how anyone can kill all the DE at the start,get past them two doors and deal with all them spawning monsters and kill all the Greater devoured for the ambrossias, then rescue the hostages, then kill the shard titan which does an astronomical amount of damage without ambrossia all within 10 mins !!
So in my book there is an exploit there somewhere if can do all of he above in 10 mins.
Why even bother doing a TF if its not gonna pass a few hours.

No if the trial is designed with a time limit of several hours you expect it to last several hours, not 10 mins !!
So if its doable in 10 mins and the devs have set a timer for several hours then surley some thing is not right if players can complete it in 10 mins !!
The devs should take a look at it and see why the TF is not being done the way its ment to be done, if it can be done in 10 mins !!
And as for it being faster then i've done it, it is but only as i take my time and enjoy doing the TF.
10 mins is world record time for a TF that is ment to take several hours to complete.

The timer's there to inhibit farming of the quicker Task Forces - it's not indicative of the time a Trial/TF should take.
Its still a challenge, just for 11 minutes.

Tell me this aint so, the Eden Trial is normally quite a challenging trial with major DE hunt at start. Then descending into the caverns , killing a couple GMs and then fight ing way through walls , collecting ambrosia to defend yourself against the mammoth crystal beast. While freeing some trapped hereos to boot. Normally takes a good few hours.

I hope the devs take a look at this and see if this is true and happinig. its sad that if this is true how degraded a sense of achievment the what was fantastic eden trial has become
And if this is possible, again the farmers have found away to make exploits to milk folks for inf or to just to get purple rare hard obtainable recipes easy !!
Can Ghostraptor or some of the other mods please put this to the US devs as i am unable to post on the US forums and if it is an exploit i hope its remedyed in the not to distant future.
