I've a US account and use it regularly.
Basically I play anything that needs a team (currently a Dom) on the US, making big PuGs (and dying a fair bit. Had a car crash Mayhem on Friday, although the people on it were sound and didn't seem to mind too much, we had fun dying ad nauseum breaking out of Prison and respawning).
Here I play mostly anything I know can solo since chances are I'm not getting a team, generally my MMs and controllers (although my MM got a few invites yesterday afternoon).
No dont have a US version, adn if i did have access then no i wouldnt transfer.

I have no interest in playing the US version of the game mostly due to timezone differences. I've done it in the past with other games and found that part often quite annoying.
I see no real impetus for change.
The EU servers seem to work perfectly well and I don't see a need to move.

I'd love to play with some of my US friends on CoH but I much prefer to stay on the EU servers, even if there's only 2 english ones to choose from.
Besides, I have far too many people I consider as friends and wouldn't abandon them for anything

I don't own a US copy. If I did, I suppose I'd give it a try, even if I had to start again with a new toon. Wouldn't take long to get another 50 if I didn't alt so much, its taken me 3 days to lvl a blaster to 36 just using the TFs and a little bit of solo grinding. So yeah, I'd give it a shot

I play in a regular duo during the week and only PuG at weekends (usually for TFs) and there are enough active players here for my needs. Moving to the US servers would simply bring me more lag, more inf beggars, more people pestering us to join our duo, more competition for outdoor spawns when I get a hunt mission (think finding 50 Carnies in PI takes a while now?), lose me both of my SGs and their bases, probably lose most of my character names, make it harder to find new character names that haven't been taken, probably leave behind most of my global friends too, and give me an official forum that churns so quickly that it would be impossible to keep up with reading it unless I did nothing all day but that.
Why would I want all that simply so I could PuG more easily at times when I don't want to or I'm asleep (remember, east coast US peak times begin at midnight at the earliest for the most westerly EU timezone) and team with more people who don't get British/European culture references?
I do (started on the US side) and no, I wouldn't.
Absolutely ZERO difference for me between the two sides, other than the fact that my missions load quicker here (that was the big difference I noticed when I shifted over here).

No and No, my commitment to CoH defenitly extend beyond my 'main' and personally I have a problem with the 'self asssured' attitude of a lot of Americans. Which in itself could be seen as 'racist' but I generally find it difficult to show respect to those who don't recpricate and in my experience generally Americans tend to have very little respect for non americans or those not 'americanised'. Perhaps this is my own twisted, small minded, petty view of things but whatever my answer remains the same.

I have not experienced lag for a long time, so I don't recognise your problem.
But if you've got lag now, surely playing on servers hosted in the USA would make it worse given the additional hops you'd need to connect to

On average the US servers, at least the East Coast ones, are fewer hops than the EU ones if you're in the UK or Scandinavia because the transatlantic links are better than a lot of the routing through mainland Europe.

Aye, I tend to get less lag and shorter loading times on Freedom than Union (for some reason the "connect" time, the bit before it shows a picture and the loading bar, is massive on Union for me at the moment).
Dont have an account and wouldn't want to move. I like the EU servers. There could be more people about sure - but I think maybe if they did an ad campaign that would help.
