i can never see how something that gains no advantage in game can be argued to be a bad thing if offered for cash for the lazy or the short of time. Even the full respec changes nothing - levelling to 50 on any character is 50 levels of work - either quickly grinded or slowly levelled. Some of the Vet rewards have a more sollid arguement as they provide a power not avialable to new players but its been done and accepted. Personally i think they should offer a whole lot more for RL cash.... costumes specs....costume packs (similar to GvE pack)... base items.... Supergroup renames.... unique titles....... there is so much they could do and people would pay .. i have no doubt. and revenue from services that gives no advantage in game is all good for NCsoft and us!!!

I agree it seems a little steep, but respecs are a special thing. As has already been said, players who don't feel like forking out for one still have multiple ways of getting a respec in game with little or no effort. If people want to burn through the ones they have and throw money at the company, then hey... That's fine by me

I don't think selling respecs is a bad idea. I also know that with 3 vetspecs plus an innevitable freespec knocking around on most of my toons I'll likely never buy one. I don't really consider 'slippery slope' with no supporting evidence to be a valid argument against selling respecs.
As one wise poster said up there somewhere - start getting strophy about game balance affecting transactions once they actually exist.
