Maestro Payment Options Removed?

That's very odd, have you e-mailed to check, could be a mistake on the site on their part.

from the knowledge base:
If you live in Europe, we accept the following credit cards for payments in /£ for your game subscription:
· Game time cards, which can be purchased at your local game retailer
· Credit cards: Visa, American Express, MasterCard
Then, in other countries, you will find some more specific payment methods:
· ELV and PayPal for Germany
· Solo and PayPal for the United Kingdom
· Carte Bleue/ Carte Bancaire for France only
· Moreover, if you are in the UK, Spain, Austria, Germany, Greece, Slovakia, Slovenia, the Netherlands, Belgium and Switzerland you can pay for your subscription using paysafecard.
The following means of payment are accepted for online serial code/access key purchases from the PlayNC store:
American Express®
MasterCard®
Visa®
Switch / Maestro (United Kingdom only)
Solo (United Kingdom only)
Carte Bancaire (France only)
Carte Bleu (France only)
Paysafecard (Germany, Austria, Greece, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland and the United Kingdom)
PayPal (if you are in the United Kingdom, Germany, Jersey, Guernsey, the Isle of Man)
so you can't use Maestro to subscribe to the game any more but you can use it to buy server xfers etc.
Oh well I guess they must know what they are doing but they have lost 2 accounts
DB, i would see if it wasn't something else, i pay with a Visa Electron Card, which they don't apprently accept either. but always makes the payment no problem.
it used to let you, before the recent 'update' to payment options, now you are simply unable to enter the details of any card other than those listed above.
I think you'll probably find that your card has another identity as well and you can use that. You don't sound like you really want to bother, but if you do, try calling the card company and asking them which of the options fits their card.

Oddness, I just checked my PlayNC account just now. My Maestro's still on file (Auto-renew as well) and when I clicked 'Change card', Maestro showed as an available option in the dropdown box given. :S
[EDIT] And it renewed Wednesday last week no problems.

Maestro does appear to be missing for me when I look at reactivating my TR and Lineage II accounts. my Maestro's still on file for both my CoH Accounts and set to renew. =/
try it under mastercard, i use mine as a visa.
Maestro can be accessed by Mastercard (Same systems), and paysafecard is available anywhere you find a 'PayPoint' (The Yellow machines that shops can top up your Gas/electric/mobile pay-as-you-go phones...)

Nope if i use mastercard option it tells me the number is incorrect.
I live in a village in the middle of nowhere, we have no shop so Paysafe isn't a valid option for me.
I used my Maestro on Tuesday to re-activate my account, worked fine for me :/

I really hope this is some kind of over site by PlayNC or some kind of bug in the system considering Maestro (or switch as it used to be called) is 1 of the 2 major (possibly only) debt cards available in the UK it seems silly to stop taking it.
Maestro's Europe wide and incredibly large (UK at least) so I'm surprised if it is gone.
It has been almost 2 years since I left working for one of the big banks but at the time they were switching over to the Visa system as a lot of banks started to withdraw from the Maestro/Switch system.
I've no idea how many went on to do it or if it's an ongoing thing today, but barring an oversight that's the only thing I can think of for it disappearing.

Yes it is in that section but not if you use the reactivate subscription or buy playing time.
Why don't you use the "change card" option, then?
Are you absolutely sure your card hasn't expired/isn't due to? When I changed mine, it kept telling me it was invalid and eventually that I'd be investigated for fraud. Turns out, my card had expired a month before the date printed on it - but my new card arrived the same week, and entering those details worked fine (not Maestro, though).

I am not a moron, please don't patronise me. The change card does nothing to reactivate your account. I used a GvE pack code previously on my second account and had cancelled the monthly payments just to make sure that it didn't get taken out. Therefore I need to reactivate account/purchase game time, which is not an option with a Maestro card
Have you tried contacting support? This seems like a very odd thing to do without even telling us.

Yes and they referred me to the section of the knowledge base which i quoted earlier.

I wasn't patronising you. I was asking a question.
By the way, "change card" must do something to reactivate an account. As I said, I had to do so when my original card expired, as soon as I had inputted the details of my new card, my account was active again. *shrug*
It appears I am no longer able to play City of Heroes. Payment via recurring monthly payment using a Maestro card no longer seems to be accepted when extending your subscription.
My Paypal account isn't verified (and can't be verified (long story))
So my only option of payment would be via Game time cards, which to be quite frank, I can't be bothered messing about with.
So to those of you still able to play COH, Farewell, My account expires soon and I don't think I can really be bothered logging back into the game at this time.
