I got my broadband sorted! I came to play tonight but couldnt get into missioning and rp unfortunatly. Was a bit too much all at once. Probably didnt help that it was a new alt even though it was only Steel Guard undercover. Ended up designing new costumes. Inny got his speedos back, Frolic got battle armour.... the others are still under construction.

Maybe if she did that to her friends by accident will she learn a valuable lesson

No peeking at the plot in advance! *shakes fist*

Eh, I mean, good to have Pyr and Inny back when they do, business as usual, nothing weird going on.

Oh well, I guess it's time to schedule the judgment thingy with concerned parties and have it done.

Yesterday

Doctor Temporis returned from a holiday in Hawaii in which he had spent a little time volcano diving, a hobby far less mentally hazardous than the acclimatisation process required to get used to the bikinis Hikari-Hime and Sara Aegis were sporting on the beaches. Lyn-Legend was more covered due to sunburn issues.

He spent a little time in Pocket D with Elisa - Ripmind if only he knew - designing clothes in a rather confused manner for a 'party' he had been invited to, and then took a side trip.

I'm taking part in NaNoWriMo (see CLICKY) and I've run into a bit of a problem. I've already asked for assistance from a smaller crowd but this here reaches more people who could give a hand.

I've tried to compile even a flimsy timeline about stuff. I have my own recaps to go through. And all the stuff that I haven't recapped, or at least with dates.

Here I ask for help. Be it fifty entries, or just one, no matter how relevant or irrelevant you think it is, could you folks please post dates and events that have to do with Coile or that directly affect him? The format I've used for simplicity:

2006:
* 5.5. The Silent Tempest is formed officially.
* 12.6. Coile meets Nut the second time.
* 23.6. Nadia is lost in the snow.
* 2.8. Andre goes to rescue Nadia.
* 9.8. Requiem falls

The kind of stuff that would be useful, stuff that I could scavenge with time but now find myself not having, include:

When did Coile arrive to Paragon City? (same date was a big beach party, 1st appearance of Pyranha)
When did we first meet Sword? (1st appearance of Sword of Truth)
When did Coila go missing and Nut helped us? (1st appearance of Nut)
When was the second beach party where Andre was a huge jerk?
When did Rakila, Inhilde or Phiseeque pop up?
When did Star Crusader and Dawn join?
When did the Requiem plot start with the first roll call?
When did Requiem's forces invade all hazard zones and more?
When did Coile adventure on Croatoa?
When did we meet Nightsparrow and Lady Cobra?
When did we form an alliance with FA and when was it brought to an end?
...and so on.

Most likely during writing some events will get chronologically misplaced. During November I won't much care, during December I hope to hammer them out. The less there are, the better.

Thanks in advance for those who can help with the nasty time tidbits.

I think I can help with one,

Judging by the infallible source of information that is Nightsparrow's scrapbook diary, the first meeting between Coile, Dustine, Sparrow and Cobra took place on October 8.

Posted

Thanks, Cobra! Appreciated!

If you have further time, other relevant dates would be good too, as in 1st Grim Shade encounter, date of when Inquirer had its fun, when did Nightsparrow have her rumble in Siren's... you know, stuff like that.

Oh and don't forget to list all those midnight strolls and steamy encounters between patrols, or giving birth to the daughter who was conceived and delivered in less than a week. *shakes fist at yellow papers*

Last night:

Inago arrived back in modern day Japan completely naked (well in his isnect armour) as all his medieval gear ahd dissapeared. He was in the middle of Osaka City alone and Pyr was no longer with him. He should be back in Paragon City some time today. Then he's gonna find a way to bring Pyr back too.

Yeah right..

Inny will get home, realiase he has missed six weeks of all his fave tv shows so thats two weeks gone.
Then he will be sent to get Pink from the rouge isles..

Then... he might remember fish face

By the way, Inny left his bedroom light on and Jester wants him to look at the bill...

Last night (or couple of days this way or that way, I got confused) Pyranha was rescued from the past and after a short shopping spree in Japan she arrived in Paragon City's Galaxy Girl-statue. There was a happy reunion with Inago after excruciating two days apart.

Pyranha also met her old friend Fenx, who apparently hadn't been doing much except dated Kitmarch. The relationship tangle confused both Pyranha and Inago, even more so when Shadowe was whisked away to Doctor Temporis' labs to be "fed" ( a nicer name to 'someone inserting huge cables into him and bursting lot of energy') and Alfred boldly moved in to kiss and hug Kitmarch after which the couple left the scene. "Swingers." was the teenager's unanimous verdict.

Veskit was looking good, despite being recently blown up. He told how life in the city had been pretty much the same while Pyr and Inago had been gone. Beating up bad guys, explosions, evil masterminds and so on.

When Doctor T returned, he was amazed, or thrilled, or something to see Inago again. After some scannings (Well, it WAS prototype that was never tested, anything could've happened, really.) he declared that Inago was fine. Pyranha got told to shut up, which for once she didn't mind. Being nervous around people makes her babble, and it's hard to keep secrets when babbling.

Bluestrike made appearance as well, more hugs were exchanged (Pyranha telling Inago, See, I DO hug everyone) and mostly fashion was discussed before Pyr dozed off and Inago dragged her home to bed.

The last days were put under the sign of failure for the Sword of Truth.
With Coile, she looked in the ruins of the Rikti war, watching Crey activities.
Her quest led her to nowhere and her fears weren't put to an end.
Since weeks, question about herself were raised. How does it come she is still able to stand and fight while she was persuaded she was going to lose all heroic abilities by forfeiting her principles and her own rules by opening love Coile ?
She handwaved away those questions until Coile made a point speaking about her ability to outrun cars. Even if one could consider Sword was gifted enough to still fight the regular heroes opponents (a theory that doesn't already hold water much), outrunning a car is beyond the human level of abilities.
When Sword finally faced a clone of herself, having the same memories than her, her mind was overwhelmed by boudt about her own identity and existence.

Yesterday, again, alongside with Coile, Dark Rose, Dustine and Phiseeque from the Silent Tempest, Keening Banshee from the Militia, New Moon from the Cirque and Harlequin Noir, she had her own reason to fight. Tagging with the heroes in their operations against Crey, she was looking frantically for clues about her own personal ties to Crey Industries.

With no results.

Isn't Harlequin Noir from the LLOD? He isn't Cirque as far as I know.

Correct. I reordered and edited my list for clarification and ending puting him in the Cirque.

Now, Harlequin never spoke about his SG so... I'll put him on "unafiliated", from Sword IC point of view

I enjoyed the aforementioned team-up quite thoroughly! It had a nice feel and dynamic to it IC-wise and also kicked a lot of tush.

Unfortunately as I was exiting the mission my wireless network vanished and I couldn't get it working even if I reseted both the card and basestar^h^h^h^hstation. It was in the morning that I cracked the problem which in itself was a good indication of how badly I needed sleep.

Not that the two previous nights with less than 3 hours worth of sleep due to Andre and Nadia discussing the Crey clone thing were ill-spent but every once in a while sleep deptivation has to be vanquished. 5 hours a night is more than adequate for that.

Hope to team-up with that bunch again soon!

The creature that is called The New Moon sits alone at night upon some ruined building near the Rikti crash site. He thinks, head resting on his fist, in an eternal artistic pose. Part mortal monster, part immortal deity, his thoughts ebb both slow and slick, briefly lucid but also often with moronic interludes.

He thinks back to the life he now leads amongst the heroes of Paragon City. How the Circle of Thorns once bound him, how the soul of one young girl saved him from the pit, and another brought him into the light. How the Cirque de la Lune took him into their family and how, in time, they liberated his mystical twin, The Full Moon. Family and friends, yet still some loneliness affects his heart.

He thinks upon much squishing done of bad men and monsters in dark caves, dusty warehouses and bright laboratories. His contacts tell him that he has done much good. Yet still some meaning eludes his life upon this Earth.

He enjoys remembering his squishing times with new friends too. The bold and baldy one called Coile and the athletic, long-legged lady Sword of Truth are kind enough to let him help them in their private quests; ladies Dustine and Phiseeque also show him kind words and bright powers that keep him safe from harm. Yet he is not part of their mortal lives. His past associates more akin to those like Keening Banshee; his dark demeanor more common with that quixotic gentleman they call the Harlequin Noir.

He looks to the Heavens, to the orb that is his mystic signature and domain. To return perhaps to that blessed state? He looks down upon the shattered cityscape, as soldiers stuggle with alien warriors amidst the folly that that mortals are ever drawn to create for themselves.

"To be or not to be,
That is the question..."

[Enjoyed being back in the game last night. Thanks for the RP team. Hope I get the chance to tag along now and then before you all out level me, hit 50, and leave me for pastures new. ]

Haha! Some really good ones!

Urgh. 8 am (the zergling brand alarm clock never fails) and I think I fell asleep sometime aroun 11 pm (my times, equalling the start time of GG&CT). I swear I haven't slept this long in over five years. Bloody hell. In the middle of NaNoWriMo, no less. So, uh, sorry, I'm going to go write something now, something to do with a novel...

Wow.... 4:45am... the ST forums are too fun.

Once upon a time in SWG...

I got into an RP guild, yes, my first one ever on MMORPG scene, and they had on their forum a section for recaps. Just so that people who were not there could read about it and have a better chance of grasping the sentences uttered by other characters and form an IC picture of what took place. You know, what the recaps are for.

I very quickly found ouyt that I liked to write that kind of stuff and started to throw in some IC observations and all in all structured them like short stories. It was about stuff that took place IG, as they were recaps.

Then once when I was logging my character went off swooping and I wondered what exactly took place, so I wrote down something that happened between IG sessions. All in all I wrote fiction pieces like that about 50 during my SWG career,

I also started to recap again at one point, in a pure list form. In simple sentences I wrote down the major events.

In CoH I started to make both IC reports and also these OOC recaps with IC flavour, completing the circle. Recaps were once again what they were once upon a time.

NOW I'm writing my NaNoWriMo novel and find out that the recappable (I luvs inventing words) material once again gets broadened up into - fiction form. Oh sky goddess. If I keep this up after November there's going to be a flood of all kinds of Tempest fiction.

We'll see, folks.

And Inny... *cough* *splutter* *whimper* *snicker* Some guys should never get moderator rights, not even to their own section.

In short news - TK stopped time for Dr Westminster, as she "doesn't have time to enjoy the situation" as she put it.

OOC- both myself and jed are nanoing and by right westminster should be dead so this is just a bit of fudge to put all my villains rp on hold. if someone needs tk for anything feel free to get hold of me, but atm i don't have time for anything huge really.
