The Sword of Truth resumed her search of a Crey complex that might hold the answers to her questions. With no results.Joined by Coile, she went to the devastated area known as the crash site.
Both, they fought in the streets alongside soldiers against the Rikti invaders. Among the ruins, on the battlefield, Sword somewhat found solace for a time.
Later, Coile mustered the Silent Tempest after hearing news about cat folk attacks or, at least, some kind of feral people.
Dustine and Phiseeque answered, as well as Sword.
They patrolled Paragon City until they met groups of lunatics exhibing claws and feline behaviour, led by Bobcat, a figure of disturbing similarities with a famous hero.
Despite all their efforts, the heroes were unable to completely defeat Bobcat herself.
Coile then called for more aid and Plutonix as well as Veskit answered the call.
With renewed vigor, the six heroes quickly dispatched Bobcat, ending her reign.
Night coming, all Tempest heroes retreated to their base where Phiseeque informed them about mysterious adbuctions of city athletes.
An operation to investigate all of this is going to happen soon, to Phiseeque initiative.
And, finally, left alone, Coile and Sword discussed once again the intricaties of life, love and if clones deserve to live the life of the original.

They did? I wasn't told about it. 
So really it wasn't ALL tempest heroes.

I was online. Would be nice to be informed of ST gatherings. It's said that Steel Guard is never around but he only needs to be asked.
Humm... Most of the time, you're playing Inago. You know we play our ST characters almost everyday. That's not big news.
You can also check your global friend list and see who we are playing.
So, if you want to play Steel Guard, I assume you have all posibilities to know when we are online and playing ST characters (ie : every day, can be confirmed with a glance on the global list)
Now, if you want, we can warn you. But be prepared to be warned every day then.
It wasn't a formal ST gathering as such. After a mission Phi said that he wanted to talk about his brother. Since it involved a bit of tactics planning it got dubbed as "Tempest gathering".
The only way to be involved in ex tempore stuff like that is playing a suitable character and being present. There can't be proper warnings about things like that. Except the first sentence of this paragraph.
Misundertansing cleared (I think)
I posted this on Creative but not all RP'ers read that forum. So, FYI.
Now that I have 10k words achieved and six chapters done (chapter 8 done, I just need chapter 7 now) I feel confident enough to post a link to the entire and ever growing work that is my NaNoWriMo novel.
However, before you dash off to take a peek, two things.
1) It is posted on Silent Tempest forum. Before you read anything else, please do read the forum rules. The reason is that despite some forum sections being unaccessible to the general public the content still can't be guaranteed to be for everyone. This is especially important to note in case you browse anything else on the forum. In order to read the novel you do not need to register. Please only register if you intend to mingle with us (Tempest & other screwballs) in-game too.
2) As a large part of the novel remains unwritten I can't say what will and will not be in there and in how much graphic detail. Safest bet is to treat the work as "mature content" and not read it if you anticipate you might be offended.

We Used To Be Friends - 08.11.2006
Since Pyranha has been back, she had spend most of her waking moments on catching up with her life. There was bills to be payed, apartment to clean, finding and watching all the episodes of Lost, Survivor and Fear Factor that were aired while she was gone. She hadn't been too anxious of see Winter right away, as there was some issues that needed adressing. But as days passed and Winter didn't answer her phone, nor called back nor visited the office and Pyranha was getting worried. She called Winter's lawyer who had seen Winter last time couple of weeks ago at their last meeting. Pyranha called Shelley Fairbanks, the third employee of Ghost Tiger Investigations and heard that Shelley hadn't seen Winter for a week either. Now lot of alarm bells were ringing. Pyranha and Shelley set up a meeting the first thing the next morning. Unfortunately one of Pyranha's contacts called and said it was emergancy. On a Tsoo case they have been working on, one undercover agent had been exposed and taken into custody. Pyranha was his last hope as everyone else he had worked with was unavailable, so Pyranha left message to Shelley to say she had to cancel the meeting but that Shelley ought to look into Winter being missing.

Pyranha has been buried in investigations, first there was the Tsoo case and after that she's thrown herself to the trail of her best friend, Winter Heart. After checking hours and hours of surveillance tape across the city, checking hospitals and morgues, credit card company, police reports, interviewing neighbors and even toughing up some local thugs Pyranha has finally come to the conclusion that if Winter has left the city, she has done it via unconventional methods, or then she hasn't left at all. Did Winter leave of her own will or was she kidnapped? If she was kidnapped, why is her mother missing too? And then there was that letter that corresponds little too well with the time of Winter's disappearance.
Pyranha is rather uncertain of the next step. The one person who might be able to help her, she really would rather keep out of this, and her associates haven't exactly excelled in the area of finding people so far. Maybe it's time to call in some old favors...
Elsewhere in the Paragon City, as well as Rogue Isles: Subaiku is doing what some humans would call brooding. Officially she's working to establish her identity in the Isles and even making some contacts. She has even had little success in that, but most of her time is spent in unsolicited, feral hunt as well as long hours perched on rooftops listening to the sounds of the night.
Oooh. I'll have to ask you about some of the stuff going on with that.

Doctor Temporis visited Pyranha at lunchtime to say hullo. Despite being still semi-conscious with sleepiness (clearly a long night either with Inago or with investigations: either way, things that go bump in the night...), she seemed very happy to see him, and he her.
After some chat about cars, Christmas presents, and a certain amount of spanking-related hijinks (ooh-err), the truth about The Sofa Weasel Conspiracy came out. Pyr was somewhat distressed to learn that she'd slept out of her apartment for days as a result of fear of non-existent weasels, and worse, that she'd told all her friends about it.
Doc's unfortunate perceptiveness (or, more likely, Pyr's inability not to look guilty) and some unwittingly applied emotional blackmail by Doc led to a revelation that she was concealing something from him, something she knew he would be unhappy about, but he didn't ask her to break her word and tell him what it was. Despite his attempts to be as understanding as possible, they still managed to miscommunicate their feelings, and ended, once again, on a bad note.

Should Winter be found intact enough to appreciate this there's going to be no end to abuse inflicted on poor Pyr. Unless Pyr ripostes with a guilt trip over Winter vamoosing in the first place.
By the way I thoroughly enjoyed Spellsong's description of Winter to Searing Red in Pocket D. Something along the lines "take impulsiveness, add crude language and some calamity. Voila! Instant Miss Winter."
...that took place while Coile was downing shots in a brisk pace, except the shots were not whiskey but tea...

My time and creative juices are still directed mostly to my NaNoWriMo novel but this just in:
Sword of Deceit! The horrible truth revealed!
I can hardly wait to see where this all goes but right now there's some prepping to do for Croatoa TF. Like, uh, writing a completely unrelated novel passage taking place in the sixties.
Last days were seeing the Sword of Truth just avoiding others. Since the release of the last issue of the Paragon Inquirer, things just went clearer for her while, at the same time, just move the end of her life as she is knowing currently it a bit closer.
Chatting with Love Angel, listening Searing Red comments in Pocket D didn't really change her mind.
Love Angel, in a very cute and romantic way, finally accused both Sword and Coile (with emphasis for Sword) of cowardice by refusing to go on.
Reality is Sword cannot accept to live the life of someone else, a stolen life, the one of Nadia Forester, the original.
Sword just got some indirect support from Phiseeque who, at least, appeared to understand her point of view.
Coile, falling into a pit of despair, just looks at a grim future, unwilling to let go a clone he is loving to get back an original he loved.
Recently,
Doctor Temporis and Pyranha patched things up to the sound of Fly Me To The Moon, but Pyr has a lot to think about. He offered to assist in the search for Winter Heart if necessary. He also had yet another contact with the alter-ego of the villainous Ripmind. Her evil plans continue.
Sam Blayne took some of the advice he'd been getting over the last few weeks to heart, and conquered his fears. Accordingly he's now dating a second year medical student from Steel Canyon U named Fiona. He seems far more relaxed as a result, and back into the heroism business with his usual verve. "If I can have fun while doing good, ain't that better than being depressed all the time while doing good? The hero gig has its up and downs, but some of you guys need to chill the heck out."
Last Night:
Pyranha and Inago found Winter Heart in an old bookstore in the Hollows. She had passed out from drinking too much so they carried her home and looked after her.
Last Night:
RC lurked at his usual spot and to his surprise, met up with comrade Jakob Ivanovich (Red Hammer) who is back in the job after fixing his suit.
He also chatted with several heroes, worried over Bob and hugged Hana Li a little bit.
Bob showed up later, and moped when RC was no-where to be seen.
Kit is back from where-ever she wondered off to. Presumably the issues are sorted, but she doesn't seem too happy about it.
The heroic cannot be the common, nor the common the heroic.

Stupid PC stutters
RC turned up earlier and worried about Bob.
Never know... it could be Bob mating season for all we know? or hibernation, tis a col blooded creature
Would this be the right time to mention that also Dustine's singularity is called Bob?
If there is a general "Bob mating season" going, this is about the right time to go visit the old man back at home and wait until the "heat" dies down.
just to note, Drade is back after a week of no showing, (i was busy) he was at he grand halls and has brought back a rather large, rather old tome.. which he seems to be reading nearly the whole time. As yet only one person "summer boy" has taken notice and asked about it.. with a little to no reply from drade has he not know to drade as a "friend" yet.
Also on the bob thing, i aggree it sounds like the little lizard maybe in mating time or just likes hiding from RC hopefully its just a phase.

* 21.8. Andre and Nadia journey to North Dakota to Andre's home. Zirgei shares the secret of his children with Nadia.
* 22.8. Andrea's body is buried. Andre and Nadia talk about Kitia.
