Project Clocktower: The Villains Galaxy Girl
It's a good idea. The Clocktower could have something that is precious to Recluse. An item of infinate power that could help him rule not only the Islands, but maybe even Paragon or the world!
Or maybe it's just a pair of Ghost Widow's knickers
Anywho, I think we should have a test on the weekend too but I encourage people from GG and out to go there around 9 or 10 tommorow.
i had great fun, not sure how my characters reception went... but it was great fun all the same. There has to be a reason to meet though, it was different from GG, as a hero your all nice and everything and you want to talk. In rping guilds there is often a very stern leader, or the alliance is only just held together, we really need a reason to come here, i have heard some great ideas but we really need to decide on one? perhaps RC is forming a villains national network... or something previously mentioned but we all need a reason to come here, i was stuck yesterday with 'admiring the scenery'...
Well, the obvious reason for Villains to gather is to find jobs or flunkies. It's also very stylish. It must surely have been a focal point for evil deeds in the past.
My only problem with the clocktower location is that it's nowhere near an arena, for settling arguments in the time olf villain tradition of stomping all dissenters flat. Maybe Cryptic could do us a portal of some kind?
Don't hope Cryptic to do a damn thing for RPers.
Sadly, that is quite true.
Well, The Port Oakes isn't that far for the agressive Villains.
Who's going to show up tonight to keep the ball rolling? Don't forget to join CTOOC.
Screenshots look good.
I'm hoping to turn up for the next one - what time? 10pm still?
Edit: Due to RC's stealth posting...

Well, I'm hoping for a steady stream of Villains going there for now on, might pop on tonight is GG is slow. I'm planning an official weekend test for 10PM on Saturday and Sunday...
I think this is a great idea, but won't be bringing my toons along until something happens to improve the lag. Took me 30 minutes to get Bounty from Nerva to Mercy Island. When I got there I was so narked that I didn't stay for very long.
But I fully support this idea, and wish you all the best for it, and rest assured once my CoV woes improve I'll be thre with Bounty and Mr Munt.

Try and get one of your characters there in advance...

If it's bad enough even that won't help. When I had to settle for a laptop with 256MB memmory I brought Coile to GG during the day using another comp but in the evening any attempt to load the zone was woefully cruched. Good luck still, it might work.
Do I have to roll my first villain sometime soon? Zarquon dammit!
Some more Undead Family goons would be cool :P.

Ummm... Prize? Be advised that these guys are villains and wouldn't hesitate to kill Munt if he annoys then.

It's the Praetorian Version of Eddie, so in other words he's not as mean...

If you want more dead people, I'll drag Lord Erebus down there some time soon. He won't want to go but I'll find a reason for him.
I may or may not be there tonight but I know I definitely won't be around at the weekend unfortunately. Shame to hear about the tools, I guess having a contact and Fortunata local isn't going to help matters really.
As for reasons for going, as mentioned there could be something hidden in the area. Or maybe there's just some aura to the place that reeks of power. Or perhaps there's some prophecy that something is going to happen there that will change the course of history. Any self respecting villain would want a slice of that. Just a few suggestions.

I may well bring one of my toons down to this, i'll give anything a try once. Will either be Captain Cutthroat or Mr Venenum

RC.. lets go to the beach to avoid the tools. You know, the one with the badge.
IC.. there a secret boat service.. just a thought.

Not everyone can have easy acess to the beach, and the newer players who might want to join in may have never seen it. The Clocktower was chosen because it's easy to find.
Anywho, we need some die hard regulars to keep the place running while GGer's are at GG.
Any volunteers?
OOO OOO me, pick me!! lol
I think i will be along regulary, as well as Lep (who i will probably keep) i am also going to make a serious character... This may be a bit off topic but is anyone looking for a character to work into their story? i would gadly make a character to help
Another excellent night of quality Villain RP. I sadly was having so much fun, I forgot to screenie.
Tonight, Dr Spelimino and his Mercenary Army entered and secured the Clocktower. Causing a little bit of a stir with the other Villains as well as his dumb and long suffering Henchmen, Dr S wanted to know who was the slimeball nicking Spielcorp's Medical Supplies.
After chatting with some locals, handing out stickers and badges and generally abusing his Minions, he got to work.
He eventually got somewhere and paid two Villains to keep an eye out for the tall bald well dressed man rumoured to be doing it. I prey somebody has a transcript of tonights Hilarity because playing with MM Villains is incredibly fun in RP.
Oh, and Mr N showed up a little bit later sensing some punk dissing him as kids say today and bribed one of the Villains who told him about Dr S.
Tommorow, I shall reveal: Torgo.
Enjoyed tonight immensely.
Tormentress turned up and spent a while leaning against the wall watching the others. She was joined by her friend Echo Hammer and the two chatted about schemes and... other things...
They were joined by Half N Half whom Tormentress... tormented... mercilessly.
Good fun.
Took a couple of screenshots late in the proceedings (late for me, at least):
Aerial shot of some of the attendees
More up-close and personal
I'd post some logs but they'd take up a load of space, anyone wants them, PM me and I'll be happy to oblige.
See you tonight...
I am the Blaster, I have filled the role of Tank, Controller and Defender
Sometimes all at once.
Union EU player! Pip pip, tally ho, top hats and tea etc etc
Hmmmm...
Ok, first thing I'd suggest is a reason for the Villains to work with each other. (Once you've got over the 'here's the parcel you asked for' and 'I want to destroy the world so I can rule') There needs to be a fixed reason WHY Villains would be there.
So....
It's a Clocktower. Perhaps it's not just any clocktower, but a totem of power. We all know that Recluse's Victory is a Time-Shift Paradigm, but he needs people to know about this and a way to keep an eye on all the newly Destined.
Therefore, he sends his most trusted servants, and perhaps the vagabonds who cheesed him off to look after HIS Clocktower, both as a memorial to what he hopes to acheive and a careful eye (and hand) on the Newly Destined.
Of course, the RIPpers don't know of it, but they suspect, as do the Snakes and others.
And perhaps...just perhaps...
There's a REASON why the Clock Tower is so important to Lord Recluse, something he'd never let anyone know about, but something he NEEDS to protect.
So as Galaxy Girl was a meeting place for good guys, The Clocktower could become a guard place for the bad guys.
I'm sure Mr. Normal and some others may be popping down.
