One of my pet peeves is the overvaluation of "native" level of English. As somebody with extensive time on the Internet, I've become convinced that "native" level of literacy really isn't that good. Perhaps a better thing to look for would be "university" level of English.

I, for one, know dozens of people who are not native speakers, and can beat the pants off native speakers when it comes to the correctness of written English.

That's a total nitpick though, and just me. I'll give your arc a look when I log on later today.

95% of my characters are opposite gender from my own. I've had no problems with it.

Oh, how cute. You're trying to use reverse psychology to get me to break out my replies and refutations of Warengine's points. "Oh, I bet you don't have any real arguments left." "Oh yeah? I'll show you!" I bet that tactic works often to provoke confrontations.

Unfortunately I've got better things to do with my time than get into a fight.

For optimal communication quality I suggest saying what one means, not saying something else.

"Are you playing on the same Defiant?" has pejorative undertones and is not conducive to a positive atmosphere among our wonderful community. A simple, to the point, "My experiences on Defiant are different" is far clearer as to its meaning, and neutral in its language, without provoking confrontations.

There is only one Defiant.

Hehe you should team with me sometime. People complain that they "can't see anything". Using storm powers conservatively? Nosiree, not me.

How much does Conserve Power help? Will it allow me to blast multiple mobs, or is it just gonna do something pathetic like blasting just two instead of one?

Aha! I see! That was very important data to know. Looks like I have a few new things to try with TB then; using it against solo targets, and getting Conserve Power. Maybe I'll come up with a use for this power yet!

Can you explain further? Its self end drain depends on how many mobs it hits?

My Stormer is built to be, pretty much, a togglemonkey. At all times, she has running two Leadership buffs, Steamy Mist, and in combat often also Hurricane and Snow Storm. So a large part of my usefulness is in being able to keep toggles up.

So, Thunderous Blast. It sucks up all your end, and thus drops your toggles. Is there any way I can prevent it from dropping my toggles? For example if I pop a blue pill right after using it, will that be fast enough to prevent a toggledrop?

Failing that, if my main thrust is to keeping a lot of toggles up, should I just drop Thunderous Blast? Or can anybody come up with a use for it?

Enhancements I play as-is if they're fitting, ignore if they're unfitting. Inspirations are sheer willpower/adrenaline for me.

Doesn't holding it at the same time as GG kind of cannibalize the possible participants? I know I can't be in both places at the same time.

Looking good. I especially like how you bothered to do some research on the mountains far above and beyond what I gave you.

Maybe the Calculator makes his home there. (Or a CoV analogy thereof, since I'm sure some people will be picky.)

For those who don't follow modern comics (heathens), Calculator is DC's information broker for villains. The "Oracle" for villains, as it were.

There's irony in it, what with the "Clocktower" having been Oracle's base a while ago.

So maybe villains visit the location to get something they need. Info on who squealed on them, a device to stabilize their powers, or whatnot. Standing around for a while could be justified by the Calculator having a "waiting room" outside. He can't deal with everybody at once, so people will have to wait outside for their turn.

Just a suggestion.
