Ah you must of been playing that goth girl Ghost of Death i actually thought the reason we was herded into the arena bar by yourself was because my character Britanic was being set up for an ambush or something. I really started to worry as we got to the other bar and the lower level was swarming with members of The Gang along with others from the Rogue Iles underworld. My um.. er.. drinking buddy who kept dissapearing for discreet chats finally calmed my paranoia, and in the end worse thing i had to deal with was the annoying Private Parking who i left chatting away with Flame Slinger about poetry (well at least thats what Private Parking was supposed to think).
Actually having an interactive bartender was great and its a great opportunity for them to act as a "Plot Monkey".
Well would you like to see more of ghost of death?
I know i would be quite happy to see you behind the bar again. Lots of potential for roleplaying to be had there!
Kitmarch pretty much ran the bar in the Tiki Lounge for about a week immediately after it opened. Even without RPers, it's a laugh.

My character Ghettoblaster works at the Pocket D and bartends whenever I bother like whipping her out.

It's a different dimension and with access from Rogue Isles and I don't think that that lot is too concenred about age when it comes to buying booze.
Some people have had trouble getting alcohol in Pocket D due to age but as not all do so I guess it can be put down to the quirks of individual bartenders.
Then again, we have bar counters with no staff and people freely help themselves to the stuff there so I guess in the end it's safe to say that it is easy enough to get a drink in Pocket D despite the age.
And as for tending the bar, it is always FAR better to talk to a played bartender instead of the NPC guy with a funky seizure attack going. If you like pulling bartender duty, by all means please continue.

Alraune won't be bartending tonight in Pocket D, because I'm going off bowling with my work collegues.

i was bar-tending earlier with my char Haru Kimura. Alraune gave me a job when her shift ended.
lol it was great fun esspecially when i threw out 2 rowdy cutomers(cogh Phis_torm cogh).
Alraune said for Haru to see DJ Zero, then she came back when Alraune was getting stressed out and at the end of her shift, so she said 'sure, whatever' after finding out that Haru did have some needed skills. Just clearing that up.

After a couple quiet nights at the D, I decided to try my hand at bartending. It was pretty fun and I managed to only get shouted at once! I think I need to work on being more social and really getting into the barkeep persona. If anyone with experience sees this, could you pass on some tips? I'm looking at doing this again.

Ok last night I was roleplaying in Pocket D and it was a little quite so I decided to bartend. I got a few people to the bar and things were looking good. I'd like to keep at it as its rather fun and id like to know if anyone else would be up for this?
What do you think?
