I am currently trying to raise interest in this raid with my SG. We have rather a lot of 50's so its more a matter of what you need than what we can offer...

The minimum number I was thinkin for a succesful healing blanket are 10 kins, 3-4 empaths to keep them alive and kicking while setting up and as many rads as possible for backup healing blanket, eventual rezzes and the so needed AM
The PA drop team can be done with as few as 4-5 people(we did it once, but more joined during the raid and we ended with a full team with just a few mitos left 
).

Has anyone done an exploratory run to see if the GM buffs have crazied-up hami and his mitos?
From being on a team taking down Jurassik earlier today, I don't see this raid going incredibly well...
Well, defiant has one up next week or the week after right? Maybe they will share their experiences since they will likely have a whack before this comes up.

I enjoy Hami raids. I've been to all bar one raid, as far as I know, since the first successful takedown by Chaplain and his gang.
The last method I think worked so well that we should be able to do it in such a short time. I remember hearing that hami wasn't shooting anything for a long time before the call came down to knock him out.
I could lead the phantom army droppers, if you need. I'd prefer someone like Stagefright to do it though, he's had experience and knows what's going really well.
From what I saw from my vantage point at the last raid (above the jello), after the few occassions where flying in teams were wiped before we started properly was: PAs dropping + gathering aggro. Taunt team flying in with group flyer, doing their thing with hami. Group flying groups of Rad and Kin controllers and defenders dropping into the middle of everything right next to hami. Kins spamming heals off hami, rads debuffing hami and AMing like mad. A couple of dark defenders for picking up large groups of corpses if there was a bit of a wipe. A bubbler or 3 for hold protection. Controllers spamming holds, PA team stops dropping, waits for pets to leave, then drop down to join holding. Team leaders come down to hit hami while the holds are being spammed. Wait for word from taunter for no damage. Blasters come in and go nuts. Server tries it's best not to blow a fuse.
That was what I saw, I may have missed some of the nuances, like who was taking care of the mitos after the PA team came down? I'm pretty sure that we just ignored them, we had so much green going off that only the odd person died after we joined the holders.
Then hami dies, and the mitos vanish with him, which was very nice, and everyone was happy.

I would run more frequent raids on union for those hami hoarders However if I have a specific objective to complete I tend to become slightly militaristic in my approach and like things to run like clockwork (like when i was doing the warburg pvp missions in under 3 mins ) I also get annoyed if people dont adhere to the plan and can do without the agrivation of the inevitable people who dont follow instruction well.
However, hopefully Xanthus will get lvld up soon enough and Im sure he would be happy to get frequent, organised and sucessful raids running So if you see him about get him lvld fast

I have vaugue recollections of the devs saying hami is hami and not an AV/GM and isnt subjective to the changes, I could be wrong though.

Yup, the Mitos and Hamidon himself are classed as Hamidon, not Giant Monsters, Monsters, AV or such, just hamidon

The minimum is 45 in order to be able to enter the Hive.

yeah, the PA team is only needed to keep initial aggro while the teams get into position. As soon as all teams are in position, you dont need the PAs anymore, as the healing blanket from kin, rad and emp is enough to keep everybody alive.
If you are interested in leading PAs in the future, I'll be happy to give you a few pointers in the followin raid. There is one main thing you should know when dropping PA, is that you need to be in constant contact with the raid leader. Other than just droppin PAs, you are also the eye-in-the-sky, and can coordinate with the raid leader as to mob movement, mito aggro etc, things you cant clearly see when on the ground.
