Has anyone tried using Coolant Belt temp power from respec trial on Hami? Or the 2 temp powers from Hydra trial also could work on him as they do on Hydra head.

It's unlikely that thermite plasma is dangerous to Hamidon and he'd have to be from another dimension for the particle cannon to be effective. Hamidon doesn't display enough connections to the Rikti to suggest their heavy weapons would be effective against him.

Plus IIRC it's impossible to get the temp powers if you're exemping down to the trial, so it's impossible for anyone able to fight Hamidon to get them.

Hamidon isn't related to Rikti or any other form.. specifically he was [SPOILER:: human .]
Those that have done "The Terra Conspiracy" story arc, will know well about Hamidon, and his ties to the Devouring Earth.
[SPOILER:: Tanya knew Hamidon before he was the master of the Devouring Earth. She told you that the creatures were probably created by a sentient bacteria Hamidon developed, a bacteria he called the 'Will of the Earth.' .]
The Temps from the Eden Trial do not work either.
They are specific HIGH yield res to the DMG the Crystal Titan does (saves healing alot and fast).
Also, because the Sewer Trial is 38-42, and only up to 42 can u claim those temps, there is no 100% guarantee, you will retain those temps, levelling to 45. So I'm afraid such an idea would have to be written off.
As far as Shivans go.. well.. they would only do -DEF RAD damage to Hamidon (if anything), as well as just lag out the zone, and annoy him/give him something else to drop.
Overall as far as Hamidon goes, he is something else entirely, compared to the rest of the mobs in CoX.. he is.. for lack of a better word, unique .

Maybe the confuses have magnitudes just like holds....

Bindun. Some guys from the US were successfully able to confuse a mitochondira. The only problem was, it actually didn't have enough damage to hit Hamidon over his regeneration rate.
Do the temps from Siren's Call have any attack powers that might be solid candidates? Maybe some of the top-tier powers?
To anyone suggesting it:
Hamidon attacks, spawn mitos and laughs at you even with NO ENDURANCE.
It's been changed a while back to avoid that kind of tactic.

But the blue one could help with the holdings.
Only problem being: better 10 trollers to hold or a single confuzzled Mito?

Not really.. and all but two are 30min timed.. so after 30mins.. even if not used, they disappear.
