You know, I think It may be possible to drag FP down to bristol as well, I'll give it a go!

Sorry to dissapoint you though Z, I won't be around more than this weekend. Much as I love CoH, and I love interacting with you all.

*bursts into tears*

Yeah, drag Frozen down too! It would be great to see you, Darkie, and before you know it, it'll be summer and you will be able to join us again.

Oh, and most of us -still- have not managed to make it to 50. Silently, this is a tribute to you.

At the rate this is going, I'm going to be the only GGer that no other GGer has actually met in that thing they call 'Real Life™'...

I should either feel left out or privileged, I'm not sure which...

will anyone be around on the friday night? I'll be needing a drink to "get over" the flying thing/10 hour train journey.

I think I'll be there on the Friday night..wait a minute, I'm giving you my floor, I have to be there Friday night anyways

Ah.. So don't need a lift up there anymore then Max? I'm not likely to get there before Saturday... Not sure yet...

I checked travel options, and if you're not going to be able to give me the lift up on Friday, then I have Super-Alternate Plan B

Basically, it'd only cost £25 for a return train-trip, which is cheaper than I was expecting. I don't mind taking the train though if you can't do the Friday, I think making sure Quilla has somewhere to sleep is more important than a few quid.

It all depends on Ghost... It looks like he'll be flying over on the Saturday and I'll be picking him up at the airport... Followed by a mad dash to Bristol from Stanstead...

Hotels in Bristol seem to be filling up because of a possible FA Cup somesuch in Cardiff, so get booking.

I've ordered my expo ticket, train later on tonight, and hotel sometime tonight when I find one. It's looking a bit hectic currently.

Posted

That's not a good sign. I can easily afford the hotel rooms, but not until after the beginning of April, due to saving up for a holiday then.

same. beginning of march is truly lean for me.

Max, Could a) wire you some cash for teh booking (then we'll sort out stuff later b) book hotel myself (and sort stuff out later) c) run crying to the end of the earth and jump of a cliff... of d) crash Z's room and steal her teeth....

if option b) then you can still get a lift on the saturday.. i'll get a nice comfy bed. all is well

For people still after rooms.. The Travel Inn Bristol (Haymarket) still has rooms, and it's just over a mile from the expo. Just booked a twin for the Saturday night at £69.

Oh, and you can book there right now, without money. All you need is a debit card which they don't deduct from as you pay on arrival.
