Bristol Comic Expo: The Second RL GG meet up
All booked! Bristol, here we come!
I also appear to be in the unenvious situation of having the wrong type of plastic card, and hence no way of booking any accomodation either. Anyone with a card, who wants a freeloader (a paying half-freeloader actually) ?
I don't snore (much).

Just in case it's more an issue with the online booking system, you guys tried phoning them direct instead?

Yep, see my amazing triple-edit above.
Train tickets and convention tickets booked! *Wibble wibble*
Now, finding a resturant might be in order, as FFM said to me in an IM with Cardiff having the FA Cup, the hotels are being booked and places to eat might be too.
Steak-y goodness?
Vazhilok-in-a-box?
???
Asian is always good, Chinese, Japanese. Not a fan of really spicy stuff though.
Italian's good.
And yes, lumps of dead cow are always enjoyed!
Anywhere that doesn't have purple-blobbyness is good with me. Plus, as peculiar a request as it may be, not an all-vegetarian place, I need my meat.
I concur! Dead animal FTW!
Cow? Where? *Gets his gun*

Okay... I think one of the things we need to bare in mind, is people's budget. We're going to meet up with a lot more people then back in Brighton, when there were only 8 of us.
If we are going to go for something like an Oriental restaurant, we need to make sure all food requirements are met.
What seems like the best option at the moment, is that we perhaps get together during the afternoon, and go scout around town a bit (We can have a bimble, have a drink in one or two pubs along the way or something), and see what takes people's fancy. I am certain we can all agree on something that takes all of our fancy.:-)
Probably a good idea, but I'm worried about getting anywhere that can seat the lot of us. Still, we can always, if need be, raid a takeaway!
Places like Beefeater or Harvester restaurants are usually pretty cheap though...
BTW: Stef, have you and Niall booked your hotel yet? If not... chop chop!!!

So long as we find something that can feed me to the point of satisfaction* I'm fine with anything we go for. Though, given our numbers, perhaps closer to the date we should get a set list of who will definitely be going to the dinner, and book well in advance?

It won't accept my card! I tried Debit Card, but it won't have it!
EDIT: Quilla, if you have a card, could you book it, and I pay you when we're there?
DOUBLE EDIT: It says on the payment-help page you can pay by cash, but I can't find the option in the paying section?
TRIPLE EDIT: Booked by phone, I'll need you to MSN or PM me your real name though Quilla, quite how I got away with telling them I'd give it to them later I don't know
