Indeed, and do you think it would actually be you Vs the patrols? because if I'm there and someone tried something I will come and kick your [censored] too and it doesnt matter that I am not an experienced PvP player I expect a numerical advantage. 
I'll happily patrol with Carni too.
Although really I'm better providing strobes and smoke machine effects for the dance floor

Count me in for the patrols as either Hero or Villain. I know we cant get mixed teams in that zone, but a team of heros and a team of villains patrolling together will help spot any hidden to the other side

I have an appeal though, if theres a few stone or ss brutes there and a sneaky hero gets in we should only kill them using hurl. It is by far the best way to punish someone :-) failing that theres brawl.
I just know that theres going to be a stalker that arrives though and ASes a dancer, about 3 heros will respond with AOE to catch him killing half the villains and then the master minds that are left will kill most of the heros in retaliation.
Good point, can the patrollers stick to single target enforcement please? There will be inocents in the area and we're not in the US, so civillain deaths aren't acceptable

How's about a Brute with teleport foe? Works really well in Sirens Call. So long as I can see the trouble maker I can get em out the way... hopefully hehehe.
Yes Bloody Bay is a PvP zone but this is a server get together and anyone who thinks that they can act all mister big and come in to cause trouble just seems to me to be someone who solos a lot. This is supposed to be a fun event and a fun time for everyone. For one night, if you want the PvP head to Sirens Call. The area of the party is a neutral zone.
If you don't want to take part in the event then accept that other people do not want to participate in PvP. After all, one think this doesnt want to turn into is an event mired by a few narrow minded arrogant individulas who just need to work of some testosterone just to prove that 'they the big man'.
All it's gonna prove is that you're not a people person and certainly do not want to make friends.
I don't want trouble, I want one night of having a laugh and for once kicking back. This is an event that a lot of people are backing as a good idea. It won't just be one person who gets ticked off, it'll be a lot of people.
Just enjoy it for what it is and quit the posturing on the forums, it's not a contest to see who has the bigger muscles here, all it's gonna show is who's got no idea of community.

What do the bartenders do? I volunteer for either bartender or patroller, but I make no guarantees at this point that I can be there for the whole event.
Here's an idea - some sponsored dueling. (Yes, I know that's a stupid name). Heroes and Villains could participate in one-on-one fights and lookers donate inf. to the winner. Anyone who runs away mid-fight gets ganked.

Ok here is the MAJOR UPDATE regarding tonights event
People working on the event
-Burnin (platform dancer)
-Coin (cameraman paparazzi extravaganza)
-Sekemt and Silver (just come and i tell u on the spot what u do )
-Flush (Platrform Dancer)
-Magic Healing (taxi service)
-Thuggernaut (patrolling if he can still make it)
-Stalkobot (patrolling)
-Paragon Defenders (patrolling)
The people that approached me in game and asked me to help are all free to come in Bloody bay one hour before the event starts and pm me to get them on board.
At 19:00 GMT the people that are going to work for the even please come in Bloody Bay and pm me to show you the location.
We are still in need of some TP'ers as the the location of the event still not been very clear to many people .Also we still need bouncers for the main entrance of the event
Now the event will start around 20:00 and will be covered with live music from Evolution Radio at www.evolisten.com.
Some basic rules people should understand for this event.
-Due to the high amount of people prolly showing up please try and keep any powers that have effect on villains off.
-Please try and avoid creating any hostilities as in the spirit of Xmas this will be a cease fire event. That includes brawling people for fun or just using a power for the fun of it.
-Report any hostilities you see to me directly so we can notify the patrolling teams.
-Uppon entering the zone ask for a tp if you cannot locate the spot for the event
-Try and have request channel on as this is the channel that we will be doing all announcements.
-If you wish to pass on any requests regarding music and shoutouts and dedications live on the air plz use the Evolution Radio global channel by simply typing /chanjoin Evolution Radio.
Most of all bring your best mood and grab a drink cause we will prolly enjoy this loads and will be good fun and christmasy.

Yes very enjoyable, was good to see a lot of friendly faces, be it hero or villain. Most respecting the ceasefire.
Was a good fun little event. Danced and we danced.

I have to throw in my apologies for missing out on this in the end. Do we blame a hangover? Do we blame me being busy? Nope. I was awoken christmas morning by my 19 month old nephew leaping onto my back from a sofa (was staying at my sisters and got the floor to sleep on) which led to me being on painkillers and having the doctor out as I was hardly able to walk let alone do anything else!
From what I have heard it was a good night all round and it's a shame I missed it.
Here's to the next one!
