I'm not, I'd just upset him with my witty dry humour and costume comments, not my fault Im an Icon junkie. I just like to look fashionable... just don't quite do that in CoV as much as Im set on my cozzie ideas.

Oh well, see you guys soon

  4. Oi Muppet, you forgot that Thuggernaut can do invites too, although I'm playing Hero a little more now.

Was a well organised event again and as the motto says "The House always Wins."

I changed my global to @Firespray as more people know me as Fire.

Excellent event even if it took ages to spawn the bugger but at least I managed to level up before I gave him a good thugging over hehehe.

    Here's to the next event!
  5. I have an emp/NRG defender - Flat Line and I couldn't be happier with him. REcently I have started playing him again and had to relearn the art of defending a team. Lost a couple but thats what happens when they aggro two or 3 mobs, split up and run all over the place.

To help me out, I originally resisted taking more than 2 offensive powers, wanting to concentrate as much as possible on my healing abilities and additional powers, so I only had the offense to use as a defense if necessary.

As I lost my playing partner this week, I have been forced into a respec and I picked up two more offensive powers, one of which is sniper blast.

Add that to a fellow emp/ele defenders Zapp and that's a boss down to a one hit wonder to any tank in the team.

I enjoy the energy powers as Im now able to solo missions with a few more offensive powers.

Looking back now, I'd have liked to have had the chance at electric, time will tell, I like playing defenders and if anyone ever needs a empath who stands in the middle of a combat and throws buffs and heals out and don't care then gimme a shout on Defiant server.

global is @Thuggernaut and at the moment I am level 23.

  6. I have to throw in my apologies for missing out on this in the end. Do we blame a hangover? Do we blame me being busy? Nope. I was awoken christmas morning by my 19 month old nephew leaping onto my back from a sofa (was staying at my sisters and got the floor to sleep on) which led to me being on painkillers and having the doctor out as I was hardly able to walk let alone do anything else!

From what I have heard it was a good night all round and it's a shame I missed it.

    Here's to the next one!
  7. How's about a Brute with teleport foe? Works really well in Sirens Call. So long as I can see the trouble maker I can get em out the way... hopefully hehehe.

Yes Bloody Bay is a PvP zone but this is a server get together and anyone who thinks that they can act all mister big and come in to cause trouble just seems to me to be someone who solos a lot. This is supposed to be a fun event and a fun time for everyone. For one night, if you want the PvP head to Sirens Call. The area of the party is a neutral zone.

If you don't want to take part in the event then accept that other people do not want to participate in PvP. After all, one think this doesnt want to turn into is an event mired by a few narrow minded arrogant individulas who just need to work of some testosterone just to prove that 'they the big man'.

All it's gonna prove is that you're not a people person and certainly do not want to make friends.

I don't want trouble, I want one night of having a laugh and for once kicking back. This is an event that a lot of people are backing as a good idea. It won't just be one person who gets ticked off, it'll be a lot of people.

Just enjoy it for what it is and quit the posturing on the forums, it's not a contest to see who has the bigger muscles here, all it's gonna show is who's got no idea of community.

Have a happy christmas everyone, I look forward to seeing a lot of you at the party.
  8. Count on the Thuggernaut to do some patrolling, I got teamspeak so I'm down with how that all works, just PM me and let me know when and where as I should be free from about 5pm on the 27th *checks radio times* Yup, nuffin on worth watching!
I'll be able to let you for definate on nearer the day but put down to help out.
  9. WE only have about 10 of the SG going in so the more villains the better as the heroes always have control of the zone and it's about time that some heroes came in and saw the villains with the advantage there. We did it a few weeks back and had a hellava night which was a lot of fun.

It's kinda like a hammi raid with less co-ordination!! It's great fun to do, especially when you see someone you know and they go for you!

Anyways the more the merrier! On both sides, maybe this is something that we can organise properly in the future as we had great fun.

Hopefully I will see you sometime next sunday.
  10. Hi all

The SVG that I am a member of "The House of Counted Shadows" is planning a second incursion into Sirens Call on Sunday 11th December at around 9pm GMT. Will take place on the DEFIANT server.

We are throwing open an invite to any and all Villains who with to join us on this, our second night out as a SG in Sirens Call.

The first night was fun, but with more Villains it could be even better.

If you are interested on taking part please mail me or reply to this topic and we'll have a night to remember!!

    Thanks

    Mark aka Thuggernaut
