I will be there with some of my friends and will be a pleasure to meet those "some of the best PvP players will patrolling the area" to check what level they are at pvp... maybe are just those gankers talk a lot at this foruns and run and hidden a lot at PvP areas.

Paragon Defenders will be patrolling for heroes. If you want to see how good we are, give us a date and a time and we'll meet you in the arena.

I'm patrolling on the heroes side, so that comment is invalid. As I said, if you want an arena fight I can give you one, but I'd appreciate it if you didn't start any fights at the christmas party itself.

I'm not accusing anything, but this sounded to me like you plan to come and start fights so please don't cos it's all meant to be for fun.
We can whip you at a more convenient date if you so wish

As i said im and my friends will check some of the best PvP players will patrolling the area (villain side) And if you dont want any fights at the christmas party just dont be there or just start the party in another non pvp area. PvP area are for PvP, another way developers need do something to avoid it at that party day. And you just be worry about you patrol task, keep you eye at villains side, do you job well. I will do mines like every day at that pvp area.
The idea is for heroes and villains to meet up and have fun together. The only place to do that is in a pvp zone - that's a very selfish attitude to have.
If you want to organise a pvp match on another night, great - i'm sure the guys will be more than please to take you up on the offer, but please don't ruin this.
I understand you idea Pyra, and it are very romantic one, but will be arround some police patrol and they are "the best pvpers players" thats its a bad idea because some people want to check that now. If that police patrol stay far away from the place event, should be no a problem because no one will attack the dancers, but if they are arround will be a problem for sure.
Take a note... I dont need organise any pvp event, i dont need duels at arena, i dont need police patrol too. I have pvp event every night at those pvp areas.
Oh it isn't my idea, it's more a community idea. I understand you wanting to take on the so called "best PVP players", and of course the pvp zone is exactly that and nobody can stop you from attacking anyone, but why not just come along and have fun with everyone else? I see you're quite new to the boards, I might be wrong, but if you stick around you'll find this place is pretty cool and most of the time everyone gets along great...it'd be a shame for you to get a bad rep for this cos I know you're only trying to play the game.
It's even possible that you can challenge the "police force" to a fight and they'll accept and you can have your match!

Ok just so you know. You are gonna die a lot for the following reasons
1)you are obviously a noob
2)the amount of villains in there will big enough to multigank you
3)No hero except your friends that will be dying a lot will help you

Now furthermore since i am organising this event and since i will spot you when you start hostilities you might as well kill anyone you feel like but what is going to happen to your SG base and the members of your SG spotted inside PvP zones after that is something i am sure you wont like . You not want all hero population bashing your base for fun after you go down this way . And in case you do i am sure your fellow SG mates will not want. Now be a nice boy and come and chill out or otherwise live with the consequences .
The event is not connected to PvP and thats why it will be carried out at a spot away from bases and mobs. So consider this a warning. If you as much try to harass or disrupt the event then as its been said you know what follows.
If you feel like going up the best PvPers how about stop being a coward and simply issue a challenge and we come and kill you any time of the day.

What you do need is PvP lessons. We deliver every day just pm us to give you some. No need practise during holidays cause we are nice and we will spare you too much

I beleive this truely awesome pvp player will be on as his hero, I assume this as I was told after advising someone who was suggesting a christmas pvp zone amnesty to look in this thread

Apparantly this uber player will kill me if Im unhidden (even though from what I can tell in his garbled post, I die for sure anyway) And from more of his garbled posts hes apparantly in the PVP zones all the time killing us, strange really as I know virtually all that I play against.

Two things.
One: yes, this event is taking place in a PvP zone, and as such, we can't alter the way the zone works just for this event. Everyone taking part in the event needs to be aware that they're in - as the zone says - a 'free fire zone'. You may well be attacked by the opposite side.
Having said that, TG has made it clear that this event is not about PvP. It's a 'Christmas cease-fire'. So, in the spirit of that, I'd ask other players reading this to try and at least honour that spirit of cease-fire. You have 364 other days in the year to kick each other's butts - heck, it might be fun to call off the dogs for a day. (Or even just a few hours.)

Second: despite all this, I will not allow the Forums to become full of 'smack' talk and slanging matches... while I understand often it's made in fun, others can feel they're being persecuted. So yes, we get the point; some of you want to PvP, others don't. Yelling at each other here won't change either side's intention.
My final advice to those involved: remember it's a PvP zone, so those rules apply; if you feel someone is unfairly 'griefing' then you can /petition them; and while you're free to organise events like this via the Forums, please don't use them to issue persistent threats or warnings.

Hmmmm apologies for that statement there since as an organizer i should have stayed with the "make peace" stance rather than try to throw oil in fire. So can the people that actually want to blow up this party simply settle for a glass of champagne (no poison included )
This event point is to allow CoV side players join in some community events that Heroes enjoy such as PDP's etc. And the whole Christmas spirit mood is based on that. Keeping a cease fire attitude for a few hours is not such big of a deal since PvP is ongoing everyday and the PvPers can be found daily in the zones. You dont really need an event to find them there. So basically try to avoid any event griefing that the community will anyway condemn as its been proved in the past and simply wear your fun attitude and join in and enjoy. Apologies if i came across a bit harsh but when someone tries to ruin an event you work hard for and involves large amount of people and effort then it can get very frustrating.
Ohhh this should be fun!
Count me and Superfly/Witchdoktor in, we'll both be mightily drunk by then (hopefully), but hey that's what parties are all about!
I'm not sure how much use we'll be but we're glad to help out, Superfly would make a good bouncer anyway hehe :P. I can just stand around flirting and dancing (which is normally what I do at parties LOL).
