Hello again Defiant! I was thinking about CoH last weekend and decided to resubscribe to see what's changed - who still plays from the old days?

Hoping to stick around longer than last time, where my stay was brief due to pesky RL issues.

Do what I did and take a couple of years off. Whether it makes it anymore exciting to come back remains to be seen!

Hi all who said hi! I have to say I was quite let down by the lack of new costume bits available, though the custom claws for my scrapper were nice.

Still no carnie boots, I've been after those for 4 years now!

Boo, redundancy sucks. My bf just went through some of that, though he and all his fellow workers ended up in happier jobs so be positive!

I didn't even know there was a new issue. But then I think missed the last 5 so there should be lots of new stuff - and that better include costume parts.

You totally need fire sword in there. Fireball > fire breath > fire sword circle, then fire blast, blaze and fire sword for the remining individuals.

Without fire sword, you've no real need to get face-to-face with the enemies, and that's no way to play a blaster.

Fire breath rocks too

Hm. Pyra has worn some rather revealing cossies in her time, and I'm not creative enough to do a particularly good bio....if thats enough for people to make a decision not to team with me without even getting to know me then I think that's pretty mean.

In fairness it was written 'back in the day' so some of the info may now be slightly outdated. For example, Rain of Fire when boosted by build up is an excellent choice, but previously it was poor....though only poor when in teams and you had a good tank, but as a solo power I always made a use of it (and I soloed the dreaded 30s). Any the case, for me it's the finest fire/fire review of all time!

That all said, at the end of the day I play for fun and enjoyment rather than figures and stuff, so if your goal is fun and you don't care about debt (also not a patch on how bad it used to be!) then go fire/fire!!

Fire/fire blasters ftw! Still hands down the best fun I've had playing the game, can't recommend them enough.
