As much as you support second chances, yesterday Xiro made a big effort for the Hami raid, clearly outlining a plan in the thread, and Lui was pretty rude about it. Trying to lead a mutiny in a situation where 80 or so heroes lives are on the line isn't cool.
Having said that, if he's willing to change then so am I. I'll give him his second chance, I'm just skeptical as to whether he'll abuse it or not.
Im all up for laying off on him, if he will change his attitude a little bit. A lot of people before the raid were just trying to help him out, and stop people having a go at him, but he was just rude in return.
However if this changes, I wouldnt hold anymore grudges.

As I've mentioned in the other thread, I'm totally in agrement with you on this. The problem was that although Xiro and yourself were trying to be tolerant and genrerally nice to him, enough people were having a go at him to put his back against the wall and make him fight.
And you know what, if it had happend to me, I think I'd have done much the same thing.

I'm more than willing to give him a chance, but every single bit of grief he got on Tuesday night was brought upon by his own stupidity - not once did he try and reason, it just seems that's how he wants to be.
And it's impossible to say "I'd have done the same" because you would never act like he did to warrant it in the first place!

As much as i hate to admit, Lui is good at times and bad at others, but to be fair, ist that us all?
Even though i dislike him, i still rezzed him, and made a point that he wasnt the only offender in regards to the capes/aura topic. Hell i even helped him with his chemisty h/w to some degree.
Im not going to change how i feel about him, because with Lui (unlike other people) i look at it logicly and check if whats being said doesnt apply to other people that are not being told off.

I hardly talk to him in game anyway, infact the one time i did interact with him he called me a moron on broadcast for not knowing that the ghost ship was permantly stuck in talos (this was like a month after they fixed that bug), that earnt him a perm ignore just for being an ar5e.
anyway forget that, my point is that im sure TG has the best of intentions but i dont think this is the first time that he's been given a chance, I mean he has the rep he has for a reason you know.
im going to continue my policy of minimal interaction with him, im not going to provoke him but neither do i want to be his best friend.

well as far as i see saw i treated him nice and despite my previous abuse to him seeing i gave him a chance he returned always in a nice way..so i came to realise he only uses the aggro part towards the rest only as defense mechanism...kinda like abuse them so they wont abuse u first or abuse them cause they abuse u anyway...so i am willing to help him and try guide him around our community a bit some do's and some donts and eventually maybe give him a chance to see the bright side of our home (this community i mean

Well it cant hurt (physically) so I will give it a go, one funny thing was when you get a tell asking for dreck or another Praetorian AV and 30 seconds later half the people in coalition also had a tell, hes quick, Ill give him that
My first interaction with him was on a lvl 29ish team on a timed mission. I knew a few people on the team, but not everyone. I treated him the same as with everyone else, and for the most part he stayed quiet. Until it became apparent that no matter how hard we tried, we would not complete the mission (i think we needed to save 8 more civilians and find 3 more devices in 5 minutes or something. ). At this point he kept running in and out of the mission saying "theres no chance, why are you going on?" and instead of helping was hindering us. Needless to say the team split after that mission, i think mostly for people to get away from him. He kept going on and on until i eventually turned round and said "shut up and quit or shut up and help" to which he told me to calm down. I never normally snap at people, anyone who knows me knows that it takes a lot for me to actually say something to someone, so its a sign how much his whole attitude was [censored] me off. Afterwards i just decided to stay away from him and not team with him if i could. Well, i managed until i was about lvl 37 on a team fighting 39s/40s. He was 35 and refused to have an SK saying "I can hit them" which he wasn't. He also then started telling me how to build Willow. Which also [censored] me off. Since then he has been on my ignore list, along with any of his alts that i know of. I don't abuse him or anything like that, i just ignore him. I'm not the kind of guy whos very good at giving second chances (I know this is a big character flaw on my part), so for now at least he will stay on my ignore list. I appreciate what you're trying to do, though, TG. I hope for everyones sake he *can* change.

WHat did he offer you? more inf? To allow you to beat down on him constantly to get your PvP rep back up? 
I've teamed with his PB a once or twice, and he comes across as impatient and someone who doesn't know alot about game mechanics, but doesn't want to know, or believes he already knows more than he needs to/wants to. Not a good combination.
That, coupled with the events on the Hami raid, where he did nothing but try to be obstructive, the constant spamming of arena chat last night about villains taking over Bloody Bay (when all the villains were staying close to the villain base, as they usually do) and his general attitude earned his PB an ignore to go with the ignore Lui earned on the Hami Raid.
He's only the third person I've put on ignore, but he needs to learn some patience. We're all nice, respectful, patient people, but sometimes he goes too far.

Ah, there is nobody more ignorant than one who doesnt want to know.. Actually I am not blaming him as much as those people who got him to lvl 50 in the first place.. I'm sure if not for that he'd have left the game already..
I've been in a team with Lui and his PB a few times in the past, and each time hes behaved like a [censored]. Also seems to like lecturing people on their builds. And I'm sorry, but being 15 is not an excuse, I certainly didn't behave like that at that age. The last time I teamed with his PB was on a 6 man team I believe, outdoor map mish, he was invited to team, entered mish then quit team and proceeded to kill mobs, stealing the teams xp. I personally have given him several chances by teaming with him, and each time hes ended up on whichever of my alts I was playing ignore list.

at forst it was a PLer to ignore, then it was an annoying kid to have on a team in PI and reandomly tp into malta bosses, then (over a month ago) i gave him a chance, we chatted a fair few times (at least 3 i think), ive even teamed with him, and possibly done a TF, but we arent sure if who we think is him, is if u follow. so yeah, i made the choice to be the 1st example of our SGs 1st rule, DO NOT GRIEF, anyone, ever. like greek says its easy to be human, afte rhaving tried ive pretty much got no where, and i have explained how to give a better impression of onesself to the community types.
If you're reading this lui, you get almost infinite chances with me, i dont hold grudges long, but i hope for everyones sake evryhting goes well, just remember no one is attacking you personally, cos they cant, they dont know you, and if you can be the bigger person and not abuse some1 twice your age on a public channel, then that says a lot.

Well i know some people have hit their limits with him but all i ask is people just be patient a bit till i try...if nothing comes out he is worth of his fate...and on another note i hope everyone is doing great
I posted this on Hami thread as well but i need repost it individually as it matters a lot to me so i just copy paste it.
I have to say something on this even if i come across different and weird...I apologised to Lui (yes i will say the name) for verbally abusing him in the past.I got him on team and had a chat with him to get to know him and see what goes on. It appears he is a kid (15 years old) and pretty nice to chat to if u teach him in civil manner.
However due to his gameplay and the rep he got out of it people verbally abuse him including me in the past as well which i deeply regret. As far as i am concerned i decided instead of maybe abusing him to try talk it out with him and maybe give him a chance to grow in this community and maybe learn from his mistakes..cause after all he is a kid and u cant expect the same as from maybe people my age or older.
However i think we should set the example by giving him some space and see the good side of this community which till now has punished him enough and outcasted him for PLing. Like i said i am no hypocrite and in past i have done it myself as well..abused him and made fun on his expense but i am only human and by getting to know another side of him i found out there is more to him than just Dreck so maybe just giving him a chance and laying him off a bit and trying teach him the right way to go and making him a part of this community
we might change something and we might discover something more in him...as long as we give him the chance...
So i kindly request people to lay off him a bit and i ll try just talk to him and maybe teach him a thing or 2 regarding all this community that to me at least feels like a family for reasons many people know. I am a big fan of giving chances just like many people gave me a chance in many parts of my life despites mistakes i might have made...
I am sure more people feel like this so just make a silent truce for now and just let him be and whoever feels like maybe can give him a push to right direction and maybe listen to him as well...besides we all got a hero somewhere hidden we should just give a chance to the people around us as well a chance to bring their own hero out.
