Yay Sally! I'm glad we're in an SG together; you're an awesome person and player . Congrats on 50; I'm honoured to have been a part of your journey there.

As an illusionist I should point out the flaw with the phase shift thing. Although Spectral Terror could potentially hold you and Phantasm could potentially damage you, with one break free you could easily kill the Phantasm. Furthermore, a Phantom Army is not very PvP savvy, and as the damage pretty much all heals that situation would be fairly easy to overcome by a half-decent PvP player. Even with a 3-damage slotted PA and Phantasm that technique would be hard-pressed to work.

Seeing as the PDP event comes slightly after Christmas, and my Supergroup was holding another event slightly before, I decided to push the two together and make Friday 23rd December The Honourable United Christmas Ball! Starting at 8pm in the PDP it'll pretty much follow the outline of the regular PDP events, with a costume competition, taunt/bind competition, with influence as a prize, unless I can get some badges together.

Although it's a "ball" it's not a strictly black tie affair, although some HU members will probably be all dressed up. I've emailed Talin about coverage from Evolution Radio, and it should be there, though I'm not sure by which DJ.

So for a quick summary of the occassion:

When?: 23/12/05 - December 23rd, 8pm
Where?: Paragon Dance Party
What?: Dancing, costume competition, taunt/bind competition, loads of people all hanging out and having fun.
Anything else?: Taxi service by HU members to the Steel PDP entrance from 8pm-9pm. Probably bartenders. I'm such an amateur . Perhaps even poledancers and bouncers if Honourable United can bear to bring themselves into such disrepute

I'm horribly horribly sorry for the late notice but I got a letter from UCAS today about an unofficial Hull Uni offer, and now I need to go to the open day, so I need to be travelling that evening. I'm really sorry, and good luck.

Sometimes I go into my base, and it throws me out again randomly.

But then from 30-50 those same 5 people will earn nothing, as they need the influence so that they can buy enhancements. And 30-50 is a whole lot longer than 10-30. This problem is alot more potent with VGs too, there's no high-earning alts.

Honourable United here. We have about 55 members, but not that many are active. We have 22 registered on the boards, so I reckon that's about our "active member" count. Should really clean up .

It was an awesome sight. I was willing to give up half an hour of my precious, precious level 50 time to see Defiant's heroes generating a disgustingly low framerate . But seriously, it was a sight to behold. Now where the hell do I put pictures .

I'd be there, but I usually watch it on telly with my family. I might leave my character there AFK though, saluting. How long until I auto-DC?

As much as you support second chances, yesterday Xiro made a big effort for the Hami raid, clearly outlining a plan in the thread, and Lui was pretty rude about it. Trying to lead a mutiny in a situation where 80 or so heroes lives are on the line isn't cool.

Having said that, if he's willing to change then so am I. I'll give him his second chance, I'm just skeptical as to whether he'll abuse it or not.
