Home of the Strange
An SG for the evil alts of the Rangers, the Coalition, and all friends thereof.

Sole member is the Overlord - Bat-King. He will only accept Bats... or people with a claim to having Bat blood.
So right now the base is nothing much worth visiting and won't be for a long, long time.
Intended to become a RP SG so if you fancy it find Bat-King and chat.
The College of Dark Arts
A college for the "gifted" in evil persuits. Though two of the co-founders are magical beings, we have no qualms if you can't light a torch with a click of your finger. Just as long as you can light a torch and use it to burn things.
Currently seeking to enroll more students.
Ok, OOC note: We are a relatively new Supergroup on Union. A couple of our members have had experience of CoH (I being one of them), though the majority are new to the "City of ..." genre.
We are hoping to also promote roleplay, and hoping to find more like-minded people in this persuit.
We are pretty easy going, with no one above level 16 yet with a lot of lower levels.
Our only conditions is that you be willing to roleplay (though we won't enforce it during combat and the likes. We know its hard!) and that you have fun.

Currently a respectable base growing as members bring in the prestige, looking to involve members in various events such as arena battles, PVP events, team quests and giant monster fighting among other things.
Check the websites if interested and send any existing members a tell to get an invite. The only thing we ask is to play in SG mode to contribute prestige for base building.
Pirates of the Apocalypse - a fun, active SG of 20 ish members. A 3 room base, plus impending website and forums should be enough to tempt you into a life of piracy.

Moderately sized supergroup with a functional base. Website on its way at the moment.
Alien Alliance
When the Rikti came, not all aliens on board their ships were Rikti themselves. Some were hired mercenaries, others captives or slaves. For various reasons, their association with the Rikti has ended. Perhaps a mercenary chose to switch sides, perhaps a slave escaped. Or perhaps an alien even ended up on this desolate mudball through an entirely different avenue than coming with the Rikti.
The Alien Alliance is for all space alien characters on Union, united by a desire to find a way off this crazy barbaric planet. The main goal of the SG is to find a way off Earth, though for story purposes it will never of course be realized (the Gilligan's Island/ST: Voyager syndrome).
The faction is willing to bend rules and morality to achieve their goals, and thus this is a villain SG. All origins, archetypes and powersets are accepted, though certain Mastermind primaries may warrant a second glance (how exactly did an alien from another galaxy end up with ninjas as minions?).
SG activity is mostly doing missions, although IC dialogue is encouraged. Heavy, involved roleplay scenes probably will be rare, but it's nice if you can remain at least mildly in character even while doing missions.

A villian group loosely baesd on th Naruto Anime evil ninja group.
I say loosely as we recruit non ninjas as well. The group has been going since the 1/11/05. Although the founder if the group has quit playing we have around 20 active members, a 7 room base with teleporters, reclaimator, 3 worktables and a Super Group computer. We are currently working towards buying a vault in order to go on the item of power mission.
We are currently 64th in the top 100 Villian Groups
Group colours are Black and Red . and our emblem is the Anarchy symbol

Got the game over Xmas so I started this SG myself and thanks to the aid of another player transferred my alts into it. Got 160K through this and >50K through playing, so only the entrance and one other, non-functional, room at the moment, slowly earning the prestige to build it up so eventually it'll be something of note.

Was voted by other players to be 1 of the 5 best SGs on champion server. This is a SG for ppl that play alot and enjoy both PvE and PvP playing, with the goals set to own Union

Greetings denizens of the Rogue Isles, I am Jonin Ooi, Leader of the Order of the Dark Sun, Bachiatarikaze Fortress has 4 rooms at present (power, control, workshop and audiance chamber).
Our army must grow in strength to be raid worthy, seek me out and send me a TELL when i'm on and i'll invite you in. (or if you see one of my warriors that is authorised to invite, TELL them). The base is a mixture of arcane and tech, this is to make use of ALL types of salvage.
JOIN THE ORDER OF THE DARK SUN to crush the spandex of Paragon City (Spandex = Heroes) and strike back at a society that gave us little or nothing for our troubles, those that MOCK us and FEAR us. They must all PAY!

Ever stopped to look up at the night sky, and wonder? If so, you've probably been mugged, beaten, and had your cash stolen by one of our band of baddies. If everytime you see a celebrity, you can think only of how much ransom they are worth, or find yourself imagining a dagger in the Statesman's back, we'll provide you with the contacts, and facilities to get on your way.
With around 35 members, we started out in November of '05, nothing more than a name, and a dream inside the head of Dr Infernum (me). Since then, we've built up our ranks, and teams are never very hard to find. We are also increasingly acting towards special events, such as Base Raids, and Hero-Killin'.
The Phoenix leadership is, as far as i know, one of the most open around. At any one time, there are five leaders, voted for by the group members. Should the slip into inactivty, or (perish the thought) leave, the gap will be filled by whoever gets the vote.
So thats us. Powerful, snazzy dressers, and above all....Villainous!

we are a growing s.g we aim to rule the union server, we have many mixed lvl memebrs.
we host our own sg events, like pvp nights, quizs etc..
this sg as only been going 7 weeks and its truly going up the ranks. thanks to the allrdy members of the O.o.R.

There are some beings whose appearance is too hideous even to be tolerated by the normal population of the Rogue Isles. They gather together in their sewer lair and plot revenge upon the world that has so cruelly rejected them. They are Bestial Fury.
Bestial Fury is a new super villain group for villains of monstrous or animalistic appearance. Pretty boys and Goth chicks need not apply.
