Hey there,
Am looking to join an SG and after reading your threads (CoV and CoH), I'm interested in 'The Order...'
I am male/29/UK and new to CoH and CoV - however, I do have a lot of experience with other MMORPGs (UO, AO, SWG, EQ2, etc). I tend to prefer solo/duo play, but always seek to join a guild/org/sg mainly for the knowledge-sharing, social aspects and for the mutual support. (I would also be interested in some team-play, but I must warn you that I have very little team exp).
I tend not to rush towards 'end-game' - I like to take my time and enjoy the complete game. Oh, and I don't 'do' PvP (mainly because I'm a wimp!)
I've started two main toons on CoV...
The Demonic Claw (Claw/Regen/Psychopath!)

A/S/L is of no real consequence to me... just thought I'd throw it in for good measure. Though it should also help to avoid any confusion when I'm on with my female toons (never ceases to amaze me how differently female characters get treated in these games - you can get away with murder, literally!)
Grat's (& kudos) on the drum-playing... I never made it past treble recorder in third year primary school (I'm not very musically minded I'm afraid!) Hehe! As for your tendency to talk a lot... bring it on! That's what I like about guilds/SGs/etc. - the random chatter that occurs in SG chat. (Once I get started, it's sometimes difficult to shut me up!).
Does the SG ever use Team-Speak btw?
Nice to see you aboard Duarte, you seem a nice skilled person dispite your chatcommand probs About ghe female characters, always be very nice to Femme Fatale and their counter-part in CoV, some realy nice ladies there. Inside spies reported me Agent Flux (aka dreamweaver) is a lady too... i just cant believe that

regarding TS, so far i used it once during a Hamidon-raid (he's the uber-super-mega-uber boss of CoH) and im pretty sure nobody wants to hear my accent

TS makes me sound like some skank from Manchester - which incidentally is what I am, so all's good there! I usually play MMOs on American servers, and they're just crazy about TS over there. I'm sure my neighbour now thinks I'm insane after hearing numerous late night chats with a guy from NY about elves, goblins and heritage quests... oh well!

fortunately i avoided the war when i lived in the 'pool, apart from once when i got kicked in the head, but i broke my fist on the guys face so it was ok
my mission in life is to get dreamer on TS, hell we're married, i think it's only fair but not with u lot about. sin sounds well cool, not as arnie as the greek, but very porn, he defo has teh 1337 sk1llz1! or something.
i played recorder in like 1st year juniors too btw, wsa ace fun, i could do hot cross buns n that was about it, also have a grade 1 on keys from when i was forced into it at the age of 8, kee meaning to do the drum grades just cos i said i would 7 years ago but end up teaching more than learning now :/

yeah so this sg chat thing, i thin k i may need to put a new tab up, i usually keep sg chat in my team tab, but lately (and belive me im happy to hear it) its been pretty busy! running out of tabs tho, iirc u can have 8 total, atm i have team, global, combat defaults then added pop ups i have a numeric with req and broad split for hami raids, a pop up with xp and rewards etc and a pop up with coalition and arena singles, o and a permanent coalition tab too, thats a fair few : / with global inc i will want my old glabal system back too (which i still have the binds for )

also, while i think of it, im not clear on the details (hence this post), Master Zap (can i call him that) is going to post here to enlighten us about the differences in tech and magic salvage and sgmode and perstige gaining, so take note of where and when to wear sg colours, i would also like to point out that as a rule if u are with sg members make sure ur in colours if there are strangers about at least, as it makes us look a bit more pro . to add to that, the only none professional thing i ever want to see is me lying on the floor dead, every1 else has no excuses, even major disruption (my landlord, think i got the name right ) hasnt died yet and hes lvl 7.

If you're looking for an established CoH SG going villain but keeping their roots, looking to smash some heroes into smitherines, but still say 'GG' at the end, then have a look here at the hero SG thread. rules are the same for CoV and CoH groups, but it's all about the game and fun, and you can work your way up in the group by showing a truely exemplary character, or just plain devious villain (in a nice way
