as ivbe said aload oftimes, the majority of the SG is ingame only, and its nigh on impossible to get them to read this 1 (and the HSG) thread, a site to look at would be cool, we could keep a record of whos who on there, and tbh a mini prfiling/alt linking system WOULD be cool, but i dont want there to be some need to trawl websites just to be part of the group, it owuld mainly be an archive i believe.

i dont think we are that organised, but we'll see.
im still waiting for someone to suggest a time and tf fro the heroes to do, i personally think that the 1st respec set to invincible with 4 50s and 4 SKs would be insane fun, and i do check my hero every day to try n keep heroes going! i just hope we can nail some TFs together soon (SG base trial anyone?) as these are some of the best times ive had!.

(how hard would it be to have system like crey industries where u can put ur own heroes etc once granted permission by one of the leaders? would be nice, although i would blatently get G or some1 to take my pics as my puter is poop (those that have seen my SU toos on crey industries will knwo this ))
just as a thought, thoght id let people know who havent seen the bae whats going on, we did have entrance, med, trol, power and work rooms, but we dropped the med room to get the cash to finish the other 3, so now we have items for control, power and a basic and intermediate forge, these can be dropped to put an advanced in if needed then reinstated but i dont really see the need yet tbh, not that i understand it all.
to use the forge, wander up and click it, this will let u simply refine 2-4 ish items of salvage from 1 group into another item called a foci or element, as far as i can gather, all subsequent items (at least at this level or production) are made from combos of these 2, this is also a way to compress your salvage i believe, but theres prolly somereason we should honto onto some basic salvage 
. this costs no prestige to do, but if you make an item to place in the base it costs prestige to place.
props to Meddler (AKA elec-fro, volt bolt) for manaaging to make the SG computer all on his own, this is now placed in the control room and will dish out missions to a team of 4+ who are lvl 20+, the AV is hard though, so be careful team (apparently). we can also do the cathedral of pain trial, this is for an IoP i believe, but we cant get it until i sort out some vaults and anchors.

For some reason, Tech items will happily run on Arcane power and Control - pretty much like iMacs will run on witchcraft.
People with base edit rights can switch forges to workbenches and back at will so simply hand off all your tech salvage to one of us.
BTW, if we want teleporters, the Arcane ones are currently bugged so we need to buy Tech anyway

botty, either go backa few pages of this thread to master zap's link for a list on his site, or click a forge and it will tell u all buildable items and their requirements, i agree, but actually, the generator we have provides 1000 units of power, its control we lack, but we can delete forges at will to get this back, also my floating giant friend helps with control.

AFAIK, neither are, but Arcane teleport pads are screwy (won't place according to several posters on this here board).

well my 1st death of the day (i had about 5 in a few hours ) resulted in awaken, the 2nd i went to the base (arcane reclaimator), this ported me and another back to the mission door, but all subsequent ports we to a random spot in the pit in shark head. so maybe its 1 time then ur screwed bug?

about 4 hours i bet, i knwo the plastics took 5 odd hours to get to the AV with only a few of them, so i imagine 3-4 hours with a team of 6-8. we will need a corr so i'm looking at G, also he cant start til 8 cos of his kids. input pls.
note, there is also a graveyard shift from about 3-6 am most nights with enough of us to do it maybe, but i know they tend not to read here yet : /

Btw, yesterday i went out to check those work-benches in the SG-base and basicly converted all highlighed options i could do (those required/needed things). I dont know what i can do with the new things, all seem to be magic stuff.
Also i got this temporary power to use in a enemy's Base, again dont know what it does

all the foci and elements you refine things into are used to make basic items, the item you made is one way of capturing an IoP in a raid.
on the next bench, and the final bench there are 2 more types of component, essentially the same as elements and foci, but afaik made from more advanced salvage, these will give rise to higher end forgeable items, and i presumet he same for the top end forges too.
if you have base edit persissions, you can drop the table, pout a tech workbench in and refine your own and otehrs tech items to clear space in your inventory, you can only carry 20 of most types of salvage i think, its not totally clear to me yet tho. make sure you put the tables back tho or i will be stropping
also i bet it was sin that deleted our 1st reclamator that never worked anyway lol, no wonder when i was explianing to some1 where it was they couldnt see it

Well, it did take me nearly two days to complete the tutorials... so that may be a reflection on the program (or how retarded I am!)

The problem with the WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) programs, you dont know the coding behind in. Even if you are r0x0r 1337 uberZz in MX2004, if someone asks you the coding for a table with merged cells.. you hit point blank.
Secondairy, these programs add alot of useless coding, wich makes your webpages fairly slower to load. Once i recoded a 175kb html into a tiny 56kb file, yet with same looks/output.
So yeah, for the starter or basic editor its a great thing, but if you planning to "continue" into HTML (and onwards php or ASP) preferable is knowning the coding itself and make it plain from scratch.
Impactplus is a fun program, i used the previous version to make start-off buttons.

I originally started with Serif 'WebPlus 8' - but switched to DW MX2004 so that I could start learning the code (as it's big claim was that it shows design/code/both)... though I am not exactly thrilled at the idea of it adding code that isn't strictly necessary! Tsk!
Oh well, may as well use it as a starting block for testing things out... if I really get into it I may actually buy a book on how to write just the code. (Be prepared for some major upsets and tantrums! Lol)

Am removing a few of my alts from the SG and keeping the two that I most want to concentrate on - as I have heard that there is a limit of 75 members for an SG? We're already over 60 members (including alts), so there's no point in me taking up room unnecessarily when I'm not really using them to play with. Can always have a rethink when I get Demonic and Krystel to top level

tsk, g33ks. when i learned html i used some online tutorials, got as far as fonts, aligning and breaks and am still just as good as i was when i stopped bothering... lol indeed. but at least i can write the code
IoP is a different TF botty, we did the 2nd strike force which is 1 of the 2 available in the base, this gives a badge and is the one linked to black scorpian (through his minion person). the IoP trial is the cathedral of pain one, we will do that next no doubt
SF went great, apart from 3 main problems, 1 was that e lost botty via DC, second was that i was exhausted from the off due to usual reasons and i had literally just walked off the respec on CoH, 3rd was that the AV wiped the team out due to the difficulty of negotiating the last map, turret objects and the AV hitting hard.
props to all who came along, there will be many more, again sorry i was far from on the ball. thanks to G for teh h3alz
Dark Pride (as Dr Empathy) needs the 3rd respec on CoH so please let me know when is good for you online at some point and we can plough through it etc.
on a brighter note, i just cokked about 300 g of pasta shells, wacked a tub of tomato and mascarpone sauce and 2 tins of tuna and its going down rather well. bonza.
o and before i forget, Drew, the hero SG is set to accomodate 2 alts (main+alt+all 50s) per person, soon we will do this to the VSG but not jsut yet as there is no need and ppl are picking mains etc.
