Peacebringer PvP

Anyways, if I16 in allowing our level 50's to become more powerful grants us more slots I'll be a lot more excited about my PB.
[/ QUOTE ]
Get excited. However you wont be able to PL to get those slots.
[ QUOTE ]
PB's have always been practically unkillable
[/ QUOTE ]
True, but the reason I respect Dawun is that he kills well, too.
I hardly see any PB's that can actually kill alone(even though they can survive various situations), but Dawun's an exception.

Their damage is actually very respectable. Anybody that can get kills on a blaster should be able to get kills on a PB. And Dawun's one of the best players in the Freedom zones, so that makes sense

I dunno anything about Dawun, as I don't play on Freedom, but truth to the rest of it, PB damage is really amazing, and they'll take out huge amounts of your hp before you're even close enough to attack them.
And if you do get near him? Incandescent Strike is going to ruin your life. And by "ruin" I mean "end".
Does he ever talk? I mean, I've teamed with him several times, but the only thing he does is call targets. And of course, he kills them.
He talks in zones sometimes apparently, but after he wipes the floor with you, he dosent parade it around like other folks from what I've seen.
Dawun is an arean boy, so I'm pretty sure he's constantly in some Vent actually talking to people. Was teaming with them last night, and it was almost complete silence in the game. They barely even called targets in chat....were just doing it on Vent. So I was kind of out of the loop, since I don't have vent.
Anyway, that's why he doesn't talk much in chat, I think. He's my global friend, and even with me it takes 40 mins sometimes to get a 1 line reply lol.
Hey War, I'll answer some questions just shoot me a global tell sometime in game or a PM or post them here I guess.

Any builds?
I doubt you'll actually get someone to post a good one. Putting an excellent build together for a PB is probably the most difficult thing you'll ever do on mids, let alone calculate with PvP IO's.
A big thanks go out to Dawun and Agent Galaxy for the great feedback, see you in RV.
If you boardmail me I'll give you the basics - not necessarily a full build, but I'll tell you where to focus your build for optimal survivability and maximum damage output.
I haven't been able to PvP as much as I'd like to the past couple of months, but I've PvP'd with the same PB on Freedom for over two years now and the build has changed with practically every issue and rule adjustment.
I'll agree with what others have said - PB's have always been hard to kill, and while they might be slightly easier to kill now than they were before, they make up for it with a lot more damage.
Here is my current PVP PB build. There is alot to be said for the damage provided through nova form (inluding its awesome range) but it is just "oh-so-squishy" compared to human form. Dwarf form is great for melee fights but I despise the slow movement of dwarf so only use it for the heal.
Any empy slot is filled up with a PVP IO Set or IO (Panacea heal sets in essence boost, reform essence and dwarf sublimation. A panacea proc is in health, and javelin proc in gleaming bolt and blast.) The PVP IOs could easily be switched to any of the heal sets (doc wounds is cheap and good) so that is an option if building on a budget.
As others have said, PBs are very hard to kill when played well and I can tell you this (primarily) human form build really dishes out some decent damage, and I don't have to spend alot of time switching between forms (I also get fly!)

Anyways, if I16 in allowing our level 50's to become more powerful grants us more slots I'll be a lot more excited about my PB. Tri-Form is basically human heals/BU with Nova and Dwarf slotted for me.
[/ QUOTE ]
What now? What is this I hear about adding more slots?
[/ QUOTE ]
At the Comic Con panel, they highlighted some of what they want to do with Going Rogue, and a few of the things were reinvent the low-level experience, add a real endgame, and make ways for level 50s to get even more powerful. No idea what those entail specifically but I'm not holding my breath.

A little birdie that went to comic con also said they told him something about making the arena cross server
